I had to cull some plants... These are what the roots looked like. Hopefully the roots in the beds look similar.

Well its update Saturday so here we go...

The grow is over. Last night I had a house fire as a result of the propane burner or elecrtic, idk, take your pick. I'm sure they both contributed. All is not lost. I'm alive, my dog is alive, and my house didn't burn to the ground. I have fire restoration to do, but I happen to have 2 commercial dehumidifiers and fans. That's if I don't have a company come out... but being a grow related fire idk that I'm going to get any coverage. I spent the night in the hospital and the ENT and the pulmonologist cleared me. ABG came back normal. I'm gonna repeat it, I'm so happy that I got out alive, with my dog, and the house isn't lost. I also got my cash out. :D. So instead of paying $1200 dollar electric bills I'm gonna use it to fix my house.

I'm done guys. This put me out of commission. This time last year I had my other grow fail. There's no point in making a comeback in a failing market. In 1 more year I'm going to be a RN. Fuck this lifestyle. I don't need it. I have a good job that pays me well and they're always calling me to come in and work. What I do at the hospital gives me more satisfaction than any plant ever will. I help people in their greatest time of need. My house is paid for. I have the final 2 payments in hand. Hopefully i can unload the lake house.

Thank you all for the impact you've had on my life. I love you all, even you DHF... If I ever start back up I'm going to build an out building, probably a greenhouse or hoop house for my personal consumption. Its not exactly a priority right now. No more large scale cropping. My focus is on being an amazing health care provider. All my tainio products are going to grow some nice veggies this summer, as is all the dirt I have to haul out.

I would recommend not using a propane burner in your house fyi. The fire melted the hose from the tank to the burner and unloaded the tank. Talk about adding an accelerant. Again, I'm lucky to be alive, with my dog, and a small stack of cash to help put my life back together. I culled all the plants, and it doesn't look like they even messed around with them tbh. Hopefully nothing legal comes of this, I think I'm ok. The MMMR is difficult to get a hold of, even for the police. I kind of think they might not even try. We'll see.

Anyway dudes... i hope you all learned a thing or 2 reading my threads. I learned a lot from you guys. Maybe I'll start a thread on fire restoration... lol. Be happy for me guys. :) I'm alive, my dog is alive, my house is not lost, i have enough money to move on from this, i have a bachelor's degree and I'm 1/2 way through an associates that will net me $55k a year fresh out of school. It's going to be ok.

Later guys... I'm gonna do my best to get some sleep.

wow that's bad news; good to know everyone's OK & all is not lost but ~sad loss of a great project

Wow, just wow. Glad you guys are safe. Really glad we're mourning your grow instead of you. However long you stay gone, you've contributed a ton to the community and will inspire plenty of up-and-coming growers in the meantime. Rest easy, stay safe, and thank you for everything.
