I thought Trinity was "The White"....

I remember reading that too. I don't think it is but I have to admit there appears to be quite a striking similarity between them. To be honest I wouldn't know I'm not very intimate with either strain outside of the internet. I've seen this trinity and it's insane and I've seen the white at a disp. But I don't know if it was the real deal or the s1. Either way the two I saw were very similar from the dried flower view.

Krunchbubble, I think you might be thinking of Triangle. Trin is different.

The White came from a seed found in a bag of Triangle...

Not the "exact" same plants.

I was told Trinity was the White as well, but the folks up in the hills say not at all no way possible.

Trinity came from a bagseed found in a bud from trinity county. The seed was sprouted in the willamete valley. The person who sprouted it also had ties in Kansas so the strain made its way out there as well. Some folks still have the trinity but it is more tightly held then any strains i have seen in a while. People are also breeding the trinity with Lavender (the original Not somas) and something called "t7" which may be another name for old school lavender.
I heard this all last weekend from the old roommate of the lucky fellow who got that bag of herb from trinity. Yet another instance where a bagseed or accidental cross turns out to be a legend. From chemdog to gorrila glue 4, think twice when find a bagseed

thanks for that history. i always heard kansas. i used to grow a trinityxsnow cross that was an awesome outdoor strain. super potent smelled like lemon merange pie and had frost on every single part of it. looked like crazy indoor and yielded well. ive lost that strain but had my fun with it and let it go. im sure its still bouncing around humboldt.

Trinity has been around FoCo Colorado for a very long time since early 2000's at the newest. Its not The White, while it does pop out the trichs like The White it is a very different strain. Great bag appeal great flavor, strong stoney high. Very happy to hear she is still around. Its been about 5 years since I have been up to FoCo so not sure if she is still up there or not. I know that she is not from Colorado, my friends that ran her said she made her way to them from Oregon. I will be watching this grow with anticipation xxxstr8edgexxx. :tiphat:
