I had the plants outside of the cab today, so I thought I'd take a few more pics:

Here's a group shot of the Sadhu from the LED cab, along with the Lemon Skunks:

Nice Lookin Buds!

Nice Lookin Buds!

Hush those buds are looking better and better as time goes on. Every time I pass through here I get amazed. If those beauties taste as good as they look your in for a real treat. They are nice and frosty. I love the orange hairs, what a treat. How do they smell? Can you give me a brief description of the aroma? How much longer you think they have before their birthday? 54 days right? What's that almost 8 weeks; it should be coming down to the wire? You don't think they'll go much longer than 8 weeks do you? By the looks of those buds you shouldn't have any trouble getting a good look at the tricomes; CAUSE THERE ALL OVER! LOL! But seriously I'd like to commend you on a great grow and a great thread. It's been both educational as well as a pleasure following along. Hope you'll post pics of the final stages including the trim, dry and cure. Till then.....

Thank you. :tiphat:

This pheno of Lemon Skunk actually goes 9 weeks. It's ready at 8, but the trichomes get a little more amber by 9 weeks and it works better for me then. But it doesn't add any extra weight in that last week. The smells coming from this one aren't as citrusy as I would like, but it's not a deal breaker. There's a hint of something, not exactly lemon, maybe more orange. But it's really just sweet and fruity, in more of a generic way. There's a little skunk smell too, but not a lot. It's actually sort of bubblegum-esque. Sometimes it reminds me of cotton candy. But it's very sweet smelling, like sugar sweet.

So I have a little over a week left before the chop.

Hush your description has my mouth watering; I'm sure it's taste will be as good as it sounds. That's cool that you are on point with what you desire and that adding that week is what it takes to accomplish it. Do you use a jewlers loop to monitor and view the tricomes? If so what strength is it, as I am about to order one from amazon.com but I'm not sure the best strength to order. There are a few different magnifying strengths available. I don't want to just order one and have it be a waste. Anyway, I'll be looking forward to some pics in about a weeks time. Good Luck!

I forgot to reply to this, sorry... I don't actually use a jeweler's loupe. I just use a digital camera in macro mode. ;)

There is quite a bit of bleaching going on, on some of the buds that are right next to the cool tube. As the lower buds have gotten bigger, some of them have flopped into the direction of the cool tube, and it is what it is. Affected some of the aesthetics of these buds, but probably not the quality. It has also affected the top buds to a lesser degree. Anyway, I'll be harvesting this weekend! :D

Thanks guys. Yeah, ZZ, that's the only downside to hempy buckets that I know of... they are so freaking easy to work with that I can't stop starting up new gardens! :D
