When I use foxfarm in a kiss feed system I always let em run a several weeks to eat up the soil before I start feeding. Salt kills your bennies in the soil real real fast so yer hurting yourself, you basically turn your fresh soil with good nuts and bennies in it to more of a soilless medium grow. How often are you hitting them with maxi bro?

Awwwwww crap! Your totally right Tonygreen, thank you.

If I try to flush the salts out, how much water is enough, without washing out the soils original nutrients?

Cheers,

When people talk about flushing out, they mean to begin watering with straight water, and water when needed. Not start dumping as much water through the pots as possible on the same day. That'll cause all kinds of issues, especially in dirt.

I'd just water with straight water for a few waterings, then maybe feed your maxi bloom at 1/2 strength. You probably only need to blast with maxi once a week

Flower Day 32

Flower Day 32

Thanks buddies, i will not purge/flush the soil, just give them only tap water for the next few waterings. Cheers!

Things have been chugging along nicely, very easy to grow strain, not very hard to keep them very healthy and sooooo much vigor in this cross, after generations of breeding, one would think that the strain would slow down, however quire the opposite!

Silver Skunk #7 is the shortest and has the strongest smells currently, smelling just like a citrus/berry/sweet with a healthy dose of funky stank to her, should be really interesting to see how she cures.
Silver Skunk #8 is the tallest currently, she has the largest buds... maybe this is my mexican pheno? not too sure, deff got the elephantitis gene in the phamily.
Silver Skunk #10 is the middle height and has super massive leaves on her.

All of the seeds are still yellow, not sure if i have to let the plants go longer than normal to get healthy dark seeds. Do you chop when the buds look ready or when the seeds look ready. What does "ready" look like for seeds and what practice do i need to do after collecting the seeds. The bud is so silver, i will prob end up smoking the calyxes regardless hahahah

Here are the ladies as of last night:

So far ive had 100% success ive planted 3 and 3 popped up I still have about 20 more.. it takes about 8 weeks for seeds to mature on the plant harvest the plant like normal and when u rrmove the seeds let them air dry for about 2 or 3 days and store them in a zip lock or as soon as u remove the seeds plant them.. notuch diff then harvesting the you just dont have to cure the seeds. . Also now that seeded bud is great for amaking hash bho qwiso or any other type of concentrate

Med man im not going to defend anyone here due to it being a test grow and you gave specific instruction but maybe he had a male and didnt realize til it was to late.. if it was intentional then yea id be mad as a breeder.. I was trying to become a seed tester but the fact that im the only one in my area who grows i cant aeem to be able to become a tester which would be awesome.

The growers I do talk to all live about 10 to 15 miles from me so its on occasion we will get together and trade seeds and buds and info
