for the sake of keeping things off topic and whatnot.

That's it. I've been growing her in CO since 08. Also have a hybrid of her I call Donkey Kong = Orgnkid Banana x Deathstar aka CO Kong.

Ironically have a few bananas in my day room at abt day 70 that will be harvested tomorrow I can get some pics of tomorrow morn-ish I will post in the frosty bud thread...(my friends can see many pics already in my albums)

Anyhow, My apologies for the further off tracking!

I am however really stoked to flower my legit gg4 cut!!!

As I was kinda sadly passed a unique bubba hybrid thing as my first attempt to attain her. The anticipation is killing me! I have never even smoked gg4. I do occasionally find myself drooling on my phone when I see a pic of her in this thread. :tiphat:

a buddy of mine who got cuts from me has dudded gg4 clones. around 30% of a light has been effected...classic short petioles, very dark green even at newest growth tips, mid level branches grow very laterally and are brittle/weak, lack of frost/presence of terpenes... It's pretty weird because I dont have any dud issues and none of his other stuff has any issues...seems almost like it just got passed through the genes from the dubb or something

I have not seen any in my plants. My first thought environmental trigger? All of the cuts sent out 12/2012 have been fine. If whadeezlrg got one of these then it would tell me it's in the genetics. Something in some gardens triggers the dud Phenomenon :dunno:

I got my cut from a bro local to jdub(he got it straight from josey), although it may not be the pre '13 cut(lmfao)...

as far as environment my bro's veg room could have gotten a bit hot approx 5'x10'x8'h built in a garage in so cal only running 1-6bulb t5 though...i doubt it ever got above 85 or so through the duration of veg. (march-april timeline...nice and cool around here until about 2 weeks ago)

his flower room is environmentally sound, plenty of air movement/circulation. around 40+watts/sqft, no heat/cold issues. no bugs of any kind, no molds/mildews...it's a very productive consistent garden....hence why I'm leaning on genetics(but the biggest thing that discredits that theory is the fact that many unrelated strains have shown duddism)

man, that sux to hear.
I hope my glue stays true. I really really like this weed a lot.

I got a quick question for u guys about the sour dubb.
You guys were saying that it looks like bubba in veg.. Does that mean that it also veg's slow as hell like the bubba too?

I don't see me having a problem (knock on wood). I would have already had duds by now. I got mine in Jan/Feb from those 12/2012 cuts. Many got run in the summer witch I don't like doing.. They deferentially got hot. This was before I got the AC replaced ..

My gg#4 looks nothing like Bubba in veg .

Other than the glue hates being rootbound I've found no problems with keeping her around and healthy. I'm finally gonna have the space to flower this lovely girl out soon

Exactly - that's why I said during the hoarding accusation days, that I'd NEVER seen a cut get coast to coast so quickly.

:respect:

Also went border to border in that same time.

I put mine into flower in August. Got up to 92 in the tent on a few occasions. Only problem she gave me was from a sourpower that hermed. Ran the same line up for wenter with no problems. Then this last harvest the sp did it again. Think I'm done with that 1.

Mainly like other strains that don't like to be rootbound. Vigor is decreased, stems go from green to dark colored or striped and also hard/not flexible. Clone strike rate goes down as well. And smell disappears.

Once she has room in the pot its back to normal. Seems like shes always ready to give more cuts even though i just took some.

Icmag is the first I've ever heard if dudding.
Although I've never seen it, I've only been growing since 1971 or 72.........
Guess I've just been lucky.
