Post signs that say "MARIJUANA GROW...THIS WAY ------>" along their path, starting at the road. If they're smart, they will get the hint and vacate immediately. If they're stupid, well, then that's a different problem (can't fix stupid) and then let the chips lie where they fly.

"Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones"...not saying anyone is wrong for chopping the guerrilla grow down, just saying sometimes idiots will ratchet things to unbelievable levels....resulting in their "payback" to be far more damaging than the original "offensive action"--by the order of a magnitude or two.

If it were me--any action I would do, I would "plan for the worst" while "hopping for the best".

Cheers!

BTW--it is good to see that everyone agrees the guerrilla grow must go--its just a question of who "chops it".

Letting someone else grow on your property is just plain stupid.

Planting on crown/gov't property is one thing....private property is a whole different ball game..

I would hate to have my plants send someone else to jail also because they were on their property.

Depends on the size of the grow........Mind you, The more ground....the larger the crop could be....Going back a few years ago.....A large crop was busted out from Chilligoe in North Queensland....Fly in Fly out job......Full on organised crime.....The word around the campfire is... The station manager who did the dobbing was found dead......So to all you tough guys....your full of shit....If you found a decent crop on your ground.....good chance you would be lookin down the end of a rifle....If it's someones personal.....bad luck for them....but I think a sign or warning would only be fair.....

it sucks but the only way to guarantee a clean way out of this is by reporting it to the local leo yourself.

you can't call it in anonymously because then the leo would assume it's the property owners grow & they would then open an investigation. you can't do the 'wait n' see' because someone else might find & report it which would jam the property owner in leo's eyes.

to do it yourself would mean a 100% cleanup by you to get rid of every bit of evidence, probably getting caught by the growers while you're breaking down their grow, not good. none of the grow can be left on the ground if you destroy it because a stranger, hunter, hiker, gatherer will come across it and call leo, who will again start an investigation of the property owner, you.

smartest thing to minimize ALL risks to you would be to call the local leo, as much as that sucks in itself.

just rip the plants out and throw some empty bottles of jd,bud and miller light and menthol cig stubbs around so they think it was just girl scouts (come back later and clean up)

never need to get the law involved

post a no trespassing sign first....give em a chance to move them...if they don't chop chop chop...djxx

Depending on its location in reguards to the residence, I'd lay down bait to bring in the bears, mountain lions, and wolves. Let the local wildlife take care of that shit.

For the record, if anyone leaves love notes for the grower, or in any other way reveals the fact that he is aware the grower is growing on his property, and the authorities end up finding this out, that's an instant conspiracy charge.

Be careful guys. They love their conspiracy charges because even when the main charges don't stick, conspiracy has a way of holding up. It's fucked.

So if you encounter a guerrilla grow on your property, you either need to really pretend that you didn't see it at all, or you need to destroy it. I mean, just in terms of being safe... I'm not telling anyone they NEED to do anything, lol.

I'm just quoting what I posted earlier, and emphasizing the important part in bold. I still see people considering awful options, lol.

Hmmm...I would never, never call LEO for anything. Innocent family members seem to get shot by cops for craziest reasons here in So Cali.

It goes like this, hubby & wifey have a spat, wifey calls cops, cops come and shoot hubby dead (by mistake of course).

Or more recently, couple arrive home from vacation and find their home was broken into, wifey call cops while hubby is checking inside the house, cops arrive, see hubby and cops shoot him dead--thinking he had a gun in his hand...it was a flashlight.

Not paranoid---just wise.

BTW...if one were to act "anonymously" in the dead of night (remove/poison/whack the grow) can someone find out who the owner of the land is? Yep, County Records office has all the secrets.

Hmmm. #1, no cops. I'd take it as a challenge. A little recon would be in order. Lay in wait. Evaluate the enemy, so to speak.
Kids? Dangerous looking fellas? More than one? Locals? Out of towners?
Back trail them a bit. Find their entrance.Put up a game cam or two. Are they driving to the spot? Get their plate number. Maybe even learn who they are from whats on and inside the vehicle. Walking? Maybe riding a bike? Probably someone who lives close by. I dont think it would take long to learn a bit about who is on your ground.
Then formulate your plan.
Around here its going to be kids or local stoners. No cartels or organized crime types here. It would be easy enough to deal with them, one way or another, whoever they may be.

Without involving some sort of authority, how would you destroy the garden?

What if you were caught disposing of the cut plants?

Do you really think "These aren't mine" is going to fly?

Would the growers come forward to take responsibility if you got popped for the plants on your property?

What if the person(s) who planted said garden were even more bad-ass than you and your guns or notes did not scare but angered and instigated.

What if they had even more guns than you. And less value for human life.

I suppose, thats a non-issue since they don't know where you li....wait.

These people have no respect for you, your property, your family or the community if they ignore posted property and use some poor schmo as a patsy.

The whole reason they planted it on your property was so they they wouldn't get in trouble if it were found, you would.

My very first call would be to my lawyer. The next call would be made by him.
