So you've tried my sift method right? :)

Cheers.

And I mean, not to get off topic, but if you know of a quicker way than 10-15 seconds to produce the quality I routinely do, please share with all of us in the hashish section :)

I went back through the thread.. room looks great. Sorry for the bad words if you took them as such.

Dewd.....I was tumbling lbs and lbs of trim in home made plywood and silk screen units powered by as said above barbeque rotisserie motors well over 15 yrs ago when the first DIY tumbler threads were on Overgrow and Cannabis World , cuz it was extra head stash and most of all.....free....and yeah....

I read your lil`ol thread bout how you think you`re the second coming of Christ to all the newbs and kiddies that consume this place in the last couple yrs , but once again I assure you....

No secrets in NorCal that aren`t available in search on most of the public weedsite forums......so....that said.....

Yes...you have my permission to leave the thread with nothing to contribute that`s of importance or help for Doc`s thread ....

Peace....DHF....:ying:....

Cool, so come into my sift thread and show us scope shots of what that produced.

I'm sure we'd all love to see your stuff up close.

Cheers.

Thank you , thank you , thank you....Post #50 for my old ass , and don`t worry bout me comin to your thread DSW....and for the record as well as the last old head tip from DEDHEDFRED.....

If yas dry trim yer nugs with nuthin but the waterleaves left on em when hung....

Take all nugs off the stem and run em through the tumblers cuz it knocks and crumbles all the waterleaves left on the nugs for damn near perfect trim for market.....plus....

Free drysift from each batch...How tiny your screen material is up to you to keep as much green leaf outta the trichome pilage...anyways.....

Always hereta help.....in PM...

Peace....DHF....:ying:.....

I`m outie....

That's not correct. If you tumble with fan leaves that are dry and brittle you will break them down into microscopic particles that find their way through the screen.

Use a scope, it'll show you. I've been refining my sift method for over a decade. It eliminates all of that stuff in a matter of seconds.

Cheers.

Hey Dr K, another quick Q - might have missed it with all the bickering. Are you cycling your burner off/on or running it continuously to hold co2 at 1500 ppm?

We go through just about two 15lb tanks of LP a week (about $20 bucks a tank) with the room at 1500ppm. We have are ac's set at 86.
Have you grown in a sealed environment before? Do you keep it that high throughout?

DrySiftWizard, why don't you go start your own thread about your dry sift techniques? I'd personally love to know your technique, but no need to hijack someone else's thread and take the spotlight away from them, right?

I set my controller to maintain co2 levels between 1400-1500. Since the room is sealed the burner doesn't kick on much. Really once the levels are reached the burner only kicks on when the ac units kick on.

This is my my fist true sealed environment. I'm keeping the co2 and temp high durning veg, but I will lower my co2 to 1000ppm and will lower my temp to 78 for flower.

Looking nice and clean.

IMO 78* is a tad low, but looks like you've done some homework and have a plan.

Set-up Looks great!

I am curious about Odor Control though. I see many small grows and a variety of odor control solutions, but not too many larger grows. I was curious if and how you tackle the odors.

I make filters and we are looking at trying to come up with something for large to commercial size growers. I always look for insight from people who are right in the thick of the particular area we are looking to help. Any insight or information would be amazing.

Keep up the great work with the grow, looks awesome!

Not enough. I run 6k and I have an Phoenix dry max industrial de-huey, and a 70 pint as an added backup. There's about 3 weeks in early flower where both can't keep up.

I agree.

I would recommend saving some funds and preparing for some major investments in dehumidifiers. Going with a high-end efficient unit will save you money in the long run. You must take into consideration the extra heat extra DHs will add. So if your A/C can just barely hang with the current setup, you need to consider adding extra cooling to handle the extra heat put out by the DHs.

For me 4x Santa Fe MaxDry's (150 ppd) weren't enough for a sealed 20-lighter. Had to throw in two extra Classic's to keep up at peak. That's on top of 7.5 tons of A/C.

You don't want a hot and humid environment in late flower in a sealed room. It will be very detrimental to the quality of the product.

That statement leads me to believe that your room is not sealed and the AC is exchanging air.

Thanks for sharing DrK :tiphat:
