Can't wait to see your backyard filled with giant trees again this year. The csd's are looking ready to explode.

have you used 600's before? i never heard of people using 3+ yards of soil per plant until a couple years ago, it seems like it is the standard now. If you can grow a 10lb plant in 2 yards of dirt then what is the point of using more? genuinely curious.

My guess would be higher quality. The bigger the battery (soil volume) the less you have to fertilize, and the more nutrients are available to the plant. I have personally noticed this for sure, more soil = better product. Although I am sure there is a point of no return.

I had 2 600s last year and they did great, even though planted late. and never got rootbound, versus my 400s that were all rootbound by the end of july and drying out daily. Im debating trying an 800 out for my last container, just because my soil guy gave me about an extra 10 yards. i would think a 12lber+ blue dream could happen

I'm thinking of doing 2 or 3 yards for each one. I'm only allowed 12 where I'm renting so I gotta get the most I can off each. My thought is if the yard cost $xxx with transportation and everything then going from 2 to 3 yards each plant should be a question of whether each addition yard will add more than $xxx value to the plants. I'm currently leaning towards 3.

hey buddy I got it, and left ya a visitor message. the mixer was 230 for the week, not bad. its still a hella job no doubt but the end mix is consistent, nice and fluffy. 2 minions running the mixer would be nice though

Loved your garden last season. Huge trees. Best Vibes this year!
Your a hard worker and deserve all those huge colas dripping with resin.

Ive got a Blue Dream out this year, in a 30gln camo growbag with the bottom cut out, over a 3' deep x 5' radius hole with ammended soil (FFOF) under it.
Its outside now, from seed. About 6" tall and vigorous as all hell. In full sun all day.
Ive read that BD is super vigorous and a monster yielder. I cant even imagine a 19/20 lb plant. Holy Frick!
Thats what Im hoping to get off all 14 plants... LOL! But ya never know.....
Its great having the masters to learn from and read all they say about how they get large plants every year.
Im hoping to get enough guerilla style this year so I can move out west and join the greats.
It would be nice if this BD did well for us.
