I don't know, this has never happened to me before. Surprisingly. My understanding of plants tells me that as long as I keep their period of darkness at 12 hours, then in theory it shouldn't matter that they have just had over 24 hours of daytime. It's the dark period that determines the flowering response in the plants, not the light period. So, since I discovered that the light was still on exactly one hour after it should have turned off, I need to make sure that the light stays off exactly one hour after it should have turned on. That will mean that the plant still has maintained 12 hour dark periods consistently since flowering began.

I hope that's right. I'm crossing my fingers and thinking happy thoughts now.

Thanks, guys. Not bad for only halfway through flowering! This setup definitely seems to be the way to utilize the giant CFLs.

Nice ring of colas!

Is that a cool white/daylight bulb? or is that soft white with white balance color correction from your camera?

It's a 6500k bulb. I have been thinking about doing this run again, but under a 3-4000k, to compare.

Hush those Gals are almost ready to burst...... They look so tasty and you can see the tricomes on her in the pics in post #108. That's just amazing the way they all huddle around that light in the center. Do you ever have problems with the light always being in the middle or do you spin them around as the grow? I mean do you ever have trouble with the outside not getting light?

You'll be fine bro. If anything happens you'll get those little bannna looking pollan sacks but it onlly happens if the light period is always being disturbed... like light leaks will cause it.. Happening only once you have nothing to worry about. That it your far into it too so if anything was to happen it be very minimal.

Nope, no problems with that whatsoever. The plants adjust to the position of the light, and they send their growth tips in the proper direction. In fact, I would think that trying to spin plants around would only confuse the plants more, or make them exert too much energy trying to always compensate for the ever-changing location of the light. Set it and forget it, I say. The plants only have to make one initial adjustment in the beginning of their lives, and then they are good for the remainder.

Also, even if I wanted to spin them I would be unable to. If you go back and look at the beginning of this journal, you'll see that the clones are all planted into 1 large hempy bed, and I can't spin the entire bed either because there is a gap in the back, where I can slide the container in and out of the cabinet, past the vertical cool tube.
