yal fukking with me or what where the hell did I say it that the GG4 cut is a dud??!:beat-dead or did I say we all got the Same symptoms from the SAME SOURCE, unreal. theres 277 pages of non-duded glue pics and another pic threads but you guys are getting out of it that i'm dissing the cut and saying the Gg4 as whole are duds.... sigh seriously? I just wish I could get my cuts so I can just go back to growing and lurking you feel me? You think I like this shit coming on here e-battling with guys?

Well, maybe it makes me a complete ass hole...

But...the more of them that "dud" out - the better. Means people will shy away from the plant, less people growing it, less market penetration, etc...

I know I was one of the first 5 to have the GG#4 cut - ran it for nearly a full year - not a single "dud" - EVER.

I've dealt with Sour Dubb, duds - but even that I feel was due to poor growing conditions resulting in an systemic infection - that got passed along to many other people...

I'm not sure why everyone is so touchy and bitter and afraid to admit they are not perfect...

But, it really would be nice - if humility could take over and the individual that passed out these infected GG#4 cuts would just step forward - admit they are having some issues - and let the community help them out and get their garden back on point...

You can never improve as a grower if you are stuck on this concept that you are perfect and never make mistakes - I think it is absolutely sad that someone is so proud or afraid to just step forward and ask for a bit of advice...

These GG#4 cuts are dudding - because someone is not keeping their parental stock healthy - not because there is some sort of genetic inferiority with the plant...

EVERYTHING in this world is cause and effect - the effect is dudding. Now, get serious and find the cause. It isn't voodoo. And there are people out there NOT having these issues...

Sooo...whether you like it or not - if you plants are dudding - it's because your stock (or your sources) is not healthy and you need to improve your gardening skills...it really is THAT simple.

I don't know how many times this topic can come up - with the same answers presented...

My S1's might be dud's? but I will make sure and test...Sometimes your the windshield...sometimes a bug...? Get a cut from someone that you trust hasn't sprayed it.. run it.. make s1's and sale them.. everyone that bitches about duds and hermies will make sure to pm you daily...:)

As far as sources for the dudding goes it's probably safe to say that there is more than one. Viruses are probably the least likely although not impossible. Insect/mite toxin? maybe but I don't see that getting passed forever if at all. A weakened form of fusarium perhaps, not enough to outright kill just infect and wreck quality seems more likely. I'm not the first to bring up the possibility of fungus or bacteria being the cause of the dudding, Frank or Dr. mentioned it awhile back.

oh boy...thanks for quoting me yeah that's exactly what im saying lol ....and yeah i'm on the waiting list for a cut I think will be a dud again. it all makes sense. and no shit someone along the way did this I think we know who. LOLz I cant even believe you just posted that.

I dont want any beef with you.

You can do what you want. I just didnt agree with your choice and arrangement of words is all ;).

Apparently cuts can dud. But if i were to guess, it was from excessive abusive.

We can all learn from this. And hopefully limit the amount of duds in the future.

If you have one you might as well toss it and resource one from someone liable. And let it grow out a bit before hacking away at it.

no beef but you shouldnt twist my words and act like I said something I didn't. it would be silly to come in here and say you know what guys this GG4 is a dud man its no good with a Glue pic thread and 277 pages here of awesome looking glue, but I know that's not the case also why I didn't say it EVER but its all good those cuts been tossed a while back I said that a few posts back im not sure you're even reading my posts :) NO beef NO fighting No bad feelings I see you in the SB threads we good CG

Yeah basically i was referring to the posts that you originally said about not growers error hoobidy hoo. I interpreted it as something dif than what you actually meant. All my bad.

Hell yeah man you popin some SB? Going to be some Glue x SB soon im excited to grow :smoke:. You getting some? Shouldnt be any duds there... hopefully!

I definitely think UP was talking about the S1's, I popped ~10 GG4 S1's (dont remember exactly how many atm) and a single one of them was this slow, tiny plant. I am trying to keep it around in the hopes that it bushes out eventually and ends up being a sour dub dom pheno.... Thats what I really want is that fucking syruppy-sour effect when smoked... Thick sour, thats my shit right there. Only had one proper batch of Sour Dub ever.... GG4 tastes a lot like Sour Dub to me, except with this sugary-creamy deal going on with it and kind of taking the sour bite off of it.. If I get an S1 that leans Dub you guys can count me out of whatever cut hunt is going on at the moment forever cuz that will be my girl. If she throws GG bulk then shit, good on me then, but I could care less about the yield so long as she has that flavor and kick. I am definitely looking for my future mothers in the GG4 s1's.... Got a sick little cut out of my 10 gg4 plants right now, thinking about up potting her and reversing so I get something out of it, then dropping pollen on an outdoor GG4 for max sun infused seed vigor..
