Looking great! Nice sea of colas

Thanks blynx. The canopy is pretty dense, Ive been defoliating a few fan leaves at a time over the past week or so trying to get a bit more light to some of the buds below the top. Hoping it helps them swell up and produce a halfway decent yield, seems to be helping a bit so far.

Defoliation is a must with the 150w in my opinion.. Unless doing a crazy scrog where you are already tucking.

I heavily defoliate my babies under the 150. The light does not have great penetration so it really helps.

Looking great so far man. Excited to see how this unfolds.

Ya I always tuck fan leaves whenever possible but some of them like to just pop back up over the bud sites and then its time to take a pair of scissors and chop a few off. I try to defoliate minimally and tuck the fans whenever possible.

Im going to be defoliating a little bit more and more as the flowering cycle continues.

If I get 3oz this time Id be happy with that, not sure I will hit that though. I would need an average of 14g per plant this run. Still about 5 weeks to go though.

Big yields are great but quantity isnt everything though and quality/variety is king for me since this is just a personal grow.

Thanks for stopping in, I wasnt sure if anyone was watching anymore the thread went kind of dead for a while.

They're gonna be huge with five more weeks!

Are you feeding them? or water only?

They have started bulking up nicely in the past 4 days or so. I only take a quick peek once a day at them sometimes only every two days when I water so when I opened the tent and saw they had stocked up a bit, I took some pics.

Probably 4 weeks and a couple days left, not sure yet but usually ~10 weeks 12/12 for hybrid strains seems to do them good for me.

I have been feeding them smallish amounts of some veganic nutes, some beneficial bacteria/fungi and humic. I only brewed and used one compost tea this run for them. They had straight RO water last night. In another week or so I will cut out the nutes and just start giving them plain RO water and some molasses a few times then cut out everything but straight RO water for about the last two weeks up until harvest.

Im going to try to reveg the SUGCJ after harvest.

My buddy that gave me the Sugar Kush clone I used as the mother in the cross, lost his mother and apparently he cant get it anymore. There are only about 8 more seeds of the SUGCJ cross and this one is frosty and smells pretty much exactly like the mother, so Im going to try to reveg and if its successful keep it around for a while and try to get a clone or two of it back to my buddy that lost the mother. I only have revegged once before and it took forever but it worked.

Not sure about revegging any others yet, when I harvest I might put them all in reveg and once I get to sample some from each pheno, I may or may not decide to try to reveg others.

The WHTCJ smells very nice its very earthy smelling and picked up some of the chemmy funk from the Chemdawg side of the Chemmy Jones. The white and chemmy together is smelling pretty dank, bet it tastes very nice and earthy when its done.

The PLATCJ smells pretty much the same as the mother and kept a lot of the growth patterns and bud formation of the mother, atleast in this pheno. I really like the Platinum Kush and she is quite similar.

The PKCJs smell a lot like their mothers too and kept some of the looks of the mother mostly the somewhat low frosting of the leaves with heavy frosting on the leaf margins.

The GDPCJ so far doesnt really look or smell like GDP or Chemmy Jones that much, seems more a mix of the two. It seems Chemmy Jones dominant in growth and bud formation. It smelled like fresh ginger root a couple weeks ago now I cant quite pinpoint a smell.

Should be fun to get the first tastes of these phenos, cant hardly wait to see what I get.
