Mass/RI/Con Growers here! ...Part II

Has anyone used anything organic besides teas for soil? I run a super soil but would like a mild pk kick in week 5 and 6? Any suggestions are welcome...I prefer something dry that I may be able to top feed. Thanks

We've been doing the one-plant-per-light thing and I shudder to think what they'd look like without nets. Just net up the whole room.

What size containers you using for this? Over the last 3 years we have went from 16 plants per light to now 5-6. I'm thinking 1-2 would be even better.

Once you go trellis... you dont go back. So much more efficient, no more lost flopped branches.

......sounds like it might be time for a Ma/Ri/Conn BIG ASS TREE contest ;-) ... There's atleast 6-10 ppl on this thread that grow 'em big now... Lloyd, let's see if u can get 2 lights over 1 broad, hah, huge ass scrog! I know Slip's always wanting to put one thru the rafters, too

Do OD plants count? :D if they do I'll submit a #1 out in the swamp. She shouldn't get too big ;) lol

Hey guys, anyone ever hear of or use kelp4less.com? This isn't a plug for the site or anything, I just discovered it, seems legit.... been trying to find a source for azomite.

I've used em for kelp lol.... I source my azomite from local nurseries....if you call around to local organic nurseries I'm sure 1 will have it....my first call had it 50# for $30...still got half a bag 2 seasons later lol

Yeah the nets makes things so stress free with big plants that grow floppy. We've been doing 25 gallons of coco, next round planning on more plants and smaller pots so probably 2 per light in 15 gals.

That's kinda the path we took. Went from lots of 3gal / light, to a 25-30 gal, and we've now settled on 10-15 gal containers. U can grow the same size broad in a 15 gal of coco that u can do in a 25 gal. Were just watering a shit ton more now, which is better than 25 gal of coco being saturated for longer than necessary. Still sticking with my tomato cages being easier than netting, dif grow styles tho.

*tre sis babies are getting beyond seedling stage over here, can't wait to find a stinky male & toss his pollen around.... Candy chem x Tre Sis, Stardawg x Tre Sis, Number Nine x Tre Sis, sfv x Tre sis, Tahoe x Tre Sis, ECSD x Tre Sis, Sour Power x Tre Sis ... All my best keepers are getting a ride in the seed tent. Pumped.

^^thats the worst avatar. Can't stand it any time I see it, been restraining my self since I fist saw it. Is it ironic? Supposed to be funny? I don't get it....maybe your part of the anti-KONY movement, if so I apologize. http://invisiblechildren.com/kony/

It's an acronym, I had this account before that african children news drama came about.... It just seemed so perfect to piggyback on it with this avatar once it hit the news especially when people online get all pissy about it thinking it has anything to do with that guy.

Last round about 10 days before chop:

no worries King of NY, do your thing.

Our 25's are dry every other day, if we hadn't gone bigger I would be kicking myself right now. Big'uns!

LLoyd I have the same issue growing trees in rootpruners, the only nice thing is you get alot of feeds in and flushing is easy. I wanted to add that a few veterans up this way grow in 20g rubbermaids with no drainage, have for years. don't know how it would do with salt fert though these guys do well and you don't need to water so much. I think if you need to water every other day you could prob get away with with going automatic with spray stakes multiple feeds per day, moght have to adjust/tweak your EC. more or less drain-to-waste hydro. Esp if your in coco.

Meh, auto watering.. I keep it personal with the ladies, give em exactly what they need thru hand watering. In the 12-15gal smarties we are getting roots busting outa the fabric, sticking to the veg tent like Velcro. We gotta water 2x a day now, which I like. And they seem to not mind ;-)

I am actually gonna give auto watering a shot on my up coming grow, even got some tables to use also. I am gonna try and not have to lug around any water jugs if possible. Also you guys are using huge pots, I liked using them in the past don't get me wrong but currently I am more comfortable feeding plants that are in anything from 1-5 gals pots....they eat quick, which is easy to correct the plant if their is any deficiencies, overfeeding, etc...I never needed to feed 2X a day when I grew in bigger pots usually more time between feeding...you guys must have some serious roots systems rocking\

KONY, nice looking tent.......

stardawg concentrates with some SFV mixed in...
