hush's micro LED grow - Sadhu

Yeah, I think I figured it out... Sadhu doesn't particularly like staying as moist as the coco is staying. I think next time I will cut it with more perlite. It seems to have been showing symptoms of over watering. Anyway, I will be treating this one like a regular pot of coco from now on, and not a hempy bucket. I don't want that water hanging around down below.

Other than that, the plant perked back up and is getting bushier, but not really growing upward so much:

wait.. what do you mean that you will not treat this as a hempy ? do you water your hempys everyday even if the res is not empty yet ?

She's perked up nicely.

Are you going to train her more to try to fill out that whole area or just let her start to grow up?

Typically, yes. Although sometimes I go a day or 2 without, because that's the beauty of hempy buckets... They can take it. But what I mean here is I'm not going to keep the water in the res anymore. In going to just water a little at a time, every day, like a regular container plant, and I will drain the runoff each time. This way the coco won't stay so moist all the time. Sadhu doesn't seem to like this. The only reason why I think it perked back up is because I haven't watered it in about 4 days now. So, in going to make sure she doesn't get wet feet anymore.

Ideally I would like to train her out once more, to cover some of that space, but I also lost time in this grow with the slow/stunted growth, so it really depends on how quickly she decides to start growing again. I see growth now. So I'm optimistic. We'll see, I guess.

Been a while since I updated. Finally things are in full swing and I'll be flipping to 12/12 real soon. I'm just going to take a few cuttings and then let her rebound. Anyway, a couple of pics from tonight:

I sure hope so!

Today I did some LST and defoliated here and there. I honestly expect to be flipping in only a couple of days now.

Well, flowering began last night so today is day 1. It would have been preferred to wait longer and let the growth tips stretch upward, but the plants in the CFL side of the cabinet can't wait any longer, and there can only be one photoperiod in this thing.

Anyway, I got it shaped into a little mini stadium. :D

Also, I need to bump the nute strength up a bit. The plant is obviously consuming more nutrient these days...

Looks like I have to defoliate some more... get rid of some of those old dying leaves...

Obviously the plant is prematurely yellowing. I have increased the nutrient levels to correct this. It's not as bad as it looks... It's just that I use a warm colored CFL to take pictures, and it emphasizes the yellow more. I also just defoliated quite a bit. Things should look a little better soon. I will also have to stake up the branches in the next few days.

I have the plant outside the cab right now, after doing some defoliating. Here she is all prettied up and staked:
