Nirvana Feminized AK48 Feminized, T5, first time tent grow

Picked up some Bushdoctors root drench today. It contains the kale for new cell development so I'm hoping for the best.

Hey budd, you mind if I stick about to watch your girls grow? Looking good and bushy, I have just stared my first grow... Just wondering how much watts your lights are putting out?

Pull up a chair man. Each bulb is 50 watts...two red and two blue spectrum=200w

25 watts per bulb on 2 ft t5 grow light. so it should be around 100 watts total if its a 4 bulb.

Thanks budd! Ah cool they are really loving the light. I am using fluorescent dual spectrum too but CFL, very simailar :D

The root feed looks great I will have to get some of that stuff!

hmm..this info was with the light when I bought it, could be wrong
*Over 10,000 lumens of plant friendly light
*Both Spectrum of lights for intense growth and flower
*Uses High Output T5 Grow light 200w equivalent

From what I understand lumens are a better indicator of how effective a light is, watts is just a measure of power you're using(efficiently or not)

They are indeed 4*24 watts, I cant believe a group of lights under 100w puts out that much light

More info:

T5-24 (960295) fluorescent light fixture is ideal for all indoor plant growing projects. With a length of 2 feet, this fixture operates four Spectralux (901621) blue 6500K T5/HO lamps, which offer 2,000 lumens at 24 watts each and or Spectralux (901593) red 3000K bloom bulbs. Wire cable hangers are included with every fixture. The fixture is louvered on all sides for cool operation with slots on top for convection cooling, and can be hung vertically or horizontally.

T5 lamps provide the ideal spectrum for plant growth. Photosynthesis rates peak at 435 nm and 680 nm. A 6500K T5 lamp has a spectral distribution with relative intensity peaks at 435 nm and 615 nm. This equates to very little wasted light energy in terms of plant growth. T5 lamps promote incredible health and vigor of seedlings and cuttings. Root development is superior relative to other lighting sources. While T5 lighting is excellent for starting seeds and cuttings, it’s also able to produce enough light for full term growth. Because of their minimal heat output, T5 lamps can be placed 6” - 8” above the plant canopy which maximizes photosynthetic response. Unlike conventional fluorescent lamps, plants grown under T5 lamps do not have to be rotated to the center of the lamp. T5’s slim diameter enables better photo-optic control of the emitted light, increasing efficiency in the form of even light distribution.

Haven't seen any new growth at all on the indica I injured and I've got some yellowing at the tips of the new growth on top

Bushy sativa looks like it has recovered 100% and is looking beautiful:woohoo:

Whats up everyone? Everything is going well here. So I made the switch 3 days ago. I mounted my fan outside of the tent pulling on the interior carbon scrubber. My temps are cool now.. never exceeding 80 and always with a nice breeze from the three fans I have mounted. I went all out and bought the entire FoxFarm line(currently making little cocktails that they have loved so far) These nutes should last me a good long while just growing for myself:bandit:

I gave up on lsting them. The timing was never right for me to start yanking and bending..between the timing of the nutes and that shocking transplant it was too much for a beginner to decide imo. I've got ties galore in case I need to tame them..just going to have some popcorn buds which is just fine by me
