Coco crew, i got a question for ya...how long does a rez stay good for you?
Trying to plan for run after this one and i will be out of town for 7-10 days most likely during that one. Will it stay good if i mix her up the day i leave? From what i seen else where im guessing that's about the max...just wondering what you guys experience.
Need to run a bunch of different seed plants to thin the heard a little, so the rdwc is a no go.

Stay good as in the rez not getting skanky or as in how long it lasts?
I travel to Europe for 3 weeks every year and even though someone refills my rez for me while I'm gone, a rez will last me 7 days before going empty. How long yours lasts will obviously depend on how many plants, how often you feed and rez size...

I use a 55 gal rez, those blue food grade ones you see for sale on craigslist.
For a timer i use a digital from HTG, the square white one with an outlet on either side.
It takes about 3 minutes to achieve waste. I use another timer (same as the feed timer) to dump my waste rez. It comes on 3 minutes after the feed timer and shuts off 3 minutes after the feed goes off, to account for the dripping.
I tried dropping a small pump in the rez to agitate things but it still gets stale by the end. I may try one of those fish tank filters that hang on the side of a fish tank...
But like i said, since we're dripping to waste the stale rez does not affect growth.

just wanted to say the 2nd pump with a good flow n the rez to keep it circulating is the way to go. ive had a 55 gal rez last 14+ days outdoors in the shade still mid to low 80's with no slime or stank that was with maxibloom only for nutes

nice g/o, you tried the animal yet? I've come to really dislike the forum cut because of the flavor wondering if that animal tastes better
FLAgreenthumb: I will post the list of what I use when I get home later. I have been running GroKashi for around 6months now and it has made a very noticable difference in flavor, potency, and overall health of the plants.
Hugh: Thanks bro!! Yeah I have had the Animal cut for about 3yrs now. She is much better than the Forum cut in flavor and high. Has more of an earthy OG flavor with a slight minty flavor on exhale.

sounds better, the forum just tastes awful to me anymore but everyone else loves it. I guess I'm too picky

, cant wait to run a flower session. Hell even with RO water its working wonderful. I did switch my calmag product from GH magical to TF Calimagic and i think that made a difference too. The GH didnt seem to work very well in my rdwc either, seemed to have cal issues in flower and mag issues in veg with it. You guys are killing the coco thats for sure.
Hit me up when you can PM. I ran across a methodology on here for germinating old seeds but i don't recall it exactly. I think there was a 3% H2O2 soak and then a soak in MaxiBloom and then I think it had you physically crack the seed (not too difficult once they've soaked for a bit. there may have been a few other steps but I'd have to dig it up to be sure...
