Well both C4DD phenos were chopped at 77 days flowering, the entire plants were hung in the dark for about 12 days then defanned and destalked. They dried for another few days then were jarred and have now been curing for a few weeks. I wanted to give them a good cure before reporting back on the smoke.

Both phenos have the distinct chem smell and taste to them, which I'd describe as astringent, raw garlic, bleach cleaning product, with hints of pine and something else.

Suprisingly, the pheno that smelt less in flower actually smokes nicer than her sister, with a thick hashy edge to the smoke, and a subtle sweet berry flavour hiding somewhere within. The other pheno tastes lovely and has a lemony sweetness entwined with the chemmy stank but lacks the thick hashy taste of her sister.

They are both equally potent, not devastatingly so but my tolerance seems to be crazy high at the moment so it's hard to accurately judge unfortunately.

Clones are being run of both phenos so I will report back with photos and reports now I seem to have them a bit more dialled.

toppin I'd say they both yield reasonably well, kind of like an OG, rock hard golfball nugs rather than long slender spear-like colas. It might just be how I'm growing them or the phenos I've found, as DET's look to yield considerably more than mine.

Here's some shots of a clone of the lemony chem 4-like pheno. The buds are stacking like an OG, and this one stretched quite a bit when it was flipped. The pics don't seem to reflect their size either.

Yeah VG the buds are definitely filling out more this run, and they also seem to be maturing at a quicker rate than the seed plants. The natural senescence kicked in a bit earlier than last time, may be because I've been feeding more lightly, but they're also swelling earlier than the seed plants.

The pics above are at 56 days, but as I scheduled the flush for a 77 day run, I'll still run them that long I think.

Is there a possibility of overflowering them and losing out on potency? I hope not!

no i think they'll keep putting on weight for a while still. im sure rez used to say that the weight went up in the last weeks with the chems even if the buds had slowed down visible new growth.

Hi all, I chopped the clone of the lemony Chem 4 pheno a few days ago and got some shots just before she came down.

This one went 78 days and the smells definitely seem stronger than the seed run, she's also packed on much more weight than last time. I've got another clone of this pheno about 7 weeks in that I chopped down to two main leading branches and raised a bit closer to the light. As a result it's stacked long colas this time, as opposed to the golf ball OG nugs, so I do think this clone can yield very well once dialled. I'll take some pictures once it's filled out a bit more.

Can't wait to run the other five seeds to see what else is hiding.

Thought I'd throw up a shot of the other pheno that was flowered at the edge of the room next to the intake. She got a bit cold and coloured up real nice. Small yield this time, I think because she didn't have much of a root system when she was put into flower.

Absolutely dripping with resin though, this one smokes like dark afghan hash.
