I have a couple of HP13s in 7gs a **** hair past day 30
looking big and bad just the way they should be
especially since i have had her for a while now

she doesnt smell like garlic chem funk or nothing like that. to me. not at all. CHEMD smells like garlic chem funk.... HP13 smells very floral... a friend told me he finds it "like a rainbow", which didnt make sense to me at first, but after a few years of cultivation, I have to say I agree with him. But the rainbow is a very floral and sweet smell. And it is unique. Soooooooo unique. Its smell will cut thru anything. I have my Ps growing right next to ChemD in fact... and the smells are opposites. To me, in my garden.

The P is a finicky plant. Very finicky. You miss a watering, you got dead lower growth to deal with. time lost. guarans ballbearins. if the medium even thinks about getting to dry, and youre a **** hair away from droop city, your in trouble and need to splash some water on her pronto. This trait carries thru to her progeny, as I have had the pleasure to work with a locally created selection - The Web - which is Maui Dawg x HP13 (not the webb indica. different plants for sure) and experienced the same "phenonenom" hahaha

The yeild has actually turned out to be pretty good. Not big bud good, but big bud aint good, right hahahaha. But i am expecting at least 4z from each 7g, which i dont think is too bad for plants flowered outside in late February. Its not setting the world on fire. But its making the world a better place to smell. its helping my hood anyhow.

if you like smoking js, then the P is gonna be up your alley. Thats a classic combination. like a Coke and a smile. Its not the kill your head stoniest buds on the planet. ChemD's power is many times greater than the P, but the P has a taste that you cannot describe... you cannot prepare for except for rainbow like. I don't personally enjoy bong rips of P, but know of others that do. and keep in mind im the same guy, who seems to be the only guy, who seems to think that gorilla glue aint the top of the chain... am i crazy, or do i set my own rules and standards? hahaha

ill try to get some nice pics in the am and have them up before too long...
if the early am mission fails then its night time photo ops in the garden by moonlight.
there are worse things to do than take pictures of pot plants at night in Maui hahahaha

I could agree with a sweet onion scent, but not anything unpleasant or rank at all...

Those are looking a bit leafy, I would hold off the nitrogen from now on, there will be enough stored in the leaves to give them all they want.
You want those fan leaves and some of the smaller ones to be yellow by harvest.

Lookin' beauty Grey...I will say I've smelt the same HP13 terpene profile in a couple pure Pakistani lines...one being the green pheno in Cannabiogen's Pakistani Chitral Kush...which imo would be a perfect outcross for HP13.

i could just not feed it on time and show you how to make all the leaves turn yellow and fall off in three days hahaha

she'll be showing her fall colors in about 3 weeks though.

im not giving it any "extra" N.... I was dosing a little bit @ 1.5ml/G some 16-0-0 to the veg food (c/m + rhizo + growbig) but not ading it voluntarily in now in flower. now its all coco a/b + canna supplements...

i dont know if its extra N making it leafy though...
because its a pretty leafy girl to begin with. but the way i feed, being ignorant and all... right... could be my "bad" hahahahaha

also, it has been doing its thing in the winter sun, though its not really fair to call the sun in maui "winter" to others that get real winters hahahaha. that said, i will be putting out another P it looks like late May (it will be the one plant disrupting a monocrop of Valley OG) that will be finished late July/early August. So we will see if its leafy becasue of seasonal causes....

Indica's tend to be leafy. I have a Norther Lights Special x Darkstar that's very leafy, or it was a week ago when I saw it last, but it's starting to yellow off or go pale now it's near harvest. But they are thin papery leaves, not thick leaves, which is not so bad.

I was sitting with a good friend last night
talking story about plants, and my friend has the best nose and descriptive abilities of anyone I have ever seen except for one person (the guy who introduced us is the king).
anyhoo.... i was telling him about the P thats coming along. And asked his opinion on scents.

But he says "oh yeah its in there".
If he smells it, its in there. So, I kinda need to sort of retract my statement about the garlic. Even if I "don't get it"...
My friend said not to feel to bad, because the P, shes got a hundred things going on in the aroma department...
