most of the places ive found outdoors that no hunters or any traffic.. the soil was garbage and acidic as fuck.. especially the swamps I like to put swamp tubes in.. promix worked great amended..

what is your point/who are you addressing?

I'm sure the native species were thriving in their native soil. Different types of plants have different requirements for growth. I'm sure if you conducted a soil test and amended the native soil accordingly it could become suitable for cannabis. You may even have to till the soil once for aeration... however after that it shouldn't need to be tilled again if you follow good organic practices and keep the soil balanced.

Do some reading in the big plant thread. The pros build mounds of dirt, and then add back to them and reuse w/o tilling. Knowledge is power. Read some science books. Nobody is gonna explain it step by step. Do and learn.

welcome twitch, photo.
thanks for the input bobble

flipped into flowering a week ago, around march 10th

I've been only feeding water and about once a week i'll feed a tea of EarthWormCastings , alfalfa meal, kelp meal (also used some maxi crop liquid seaweed recently picked up a fresh bottle of it), and molasses. Occasionally been feeding with a Fermented Plant Extract made by a pal also.
some yellowing happening, bottom up, looks like mag def, so im foliar feeding with some empsom salts/calmag plus (botanicare), was thinking a foliar with some seaweed or EWCtea would make them pretty happy, also plan on ogbiowaring them again before budset really kicks.
It's so dry here that I've been foliar spraying/ IPM spraying a lot the last few weeks, rotating essential oils like ed rosenthal zero tolerance, "wizard brew" local mix of peppermint rosemary etc. oils, sm90 (corriander oil), neem oil (dyna gro), with ogbiowar and some floralicious plus that i have left over from running gen hydro for.... years.

stretch is happening, the LOUD 7/8ths sour are the most stretchy in the room, i kept 3 phenos of it from last round of plants flowered from seed.
harlequin is really not that stretchy at all for me i like it, looks like it's off to a quick start showing budset at the tops thicker and quicker than many of the sativa leaning flo x grimm reaper (still my keeper "pink" pheno).

also i'm flowering out a "cali o" i was given, see what she is capable of.

taking lots of clones of the 2 keeper phenos of Rare Dankness Flo OG, buddah's sister as "proven", some clones also of the 7/8ths sour (all 3 phenos, still sorting that out)
also taking clones of all the female plants from seed: las vegas bubba kush by sin city (2 or 3phenos) sumo slumber by double kindness (1 pheno i thkn came out female, maybe 2), boss's sister by sin city (buddah's sis x el jefe)
also cloning from some unproven plants, flowering now: ras richie jamaican, calio, des*tar by dynasty seeds (2 phenos), dynasty's drizella bx'ed by me (3 phenos, 2 VERY sativa leaning, mothers in flowering now and showing lots of stretch)

fucking crazy... duno why the hell i popped seeds of that driz bx, just wanted to run some of my own seeds, altho i know there are some LONG flowering sativa phenos in there like 15 plus weeks flowering time.... i can't accommdate that, sadly.

also
been busy setting up a side by side room to compare that philips 315w ceramic metal halide setup next to a 1000w hps setup, vented. (the econo wing in there was just to keep some plants happy temporarily during buildout of this lil room).

I dig the harlequin, so far. Flowering her out for the first time this round, got one biggish mom and 2 regular sized plants in soil and a few in the bucket system also....

the buckets system is really blowing up, for the most part, several plants just.... tiny, but some harlequins looking amazing in the buckets, also buddah's sister looking great in the buckets just like last round. also got some nice flo's in the buckets.

also, got a clone of "wu#5" a keeper pheno from the "r4" seedstock from greenworkz in denver. it's supposed to be a LOW THC strain, something like 17:1 cbd:thc ratio...

thanks skunkplz, welcome

Charlottes Web is a great medical high CBD strain if you can find it.

in my experience, the charlottes web strain is ENTIRELY unavailable to the general public. it's my belief that the brothers from guptas tv show that run the "indispensary" shop in colorado springs are hoarding the strain; there are several other high cbd strains floating around colorado, and if you TRY you can get them (it's not that hard). BUT never have i seen charlottes web, or even any hard info about the strain (other than the gupta tv stuff).

I doubt that charlottes web strain has any greater medical value than other high cbd strains.

I know a girl that works at the Dillard's makeup counter, and the older brother buys all of his makeup from her. Maybe she can hook you up with Charlotte's web. :)

meanwhile in veg.... under the ceramic metal halide bulb 315w by philips

after a round of cloning I did some LST to control upward growth and promote lateral branching, pulled all branches down and outwards to increase light penetration and get more brances growing.

^^ close up of some branches tied down.
