Alas, still nothing from Dr Z, the package was from the bank??????????????????????????????.

I sent a followup to Dr Z drawing it to his attention. I would infer that he believes that "Ron" sent such a package, based on him asking for the results shortly after the sample was ostensibly sent, except as I grow older, and more jaded enough by experience to become cynical, I become more convinced that ongoing drama that continues to not follow through with commitments diminishes credibility, so I am trying hard to cut Dr Z even more slack and remain in neutral position.

Truth is shorter than fiction. Let's cut to the chase Dr Z. Your product, your organization delivering samples, the ball remains in your court. Do you want the technocrats on this and other forums behind you or in your face?.....................

Given that the can says that there is a bitterant in the product, where is the MSDS information on what that bitterant is? Would you please share, so can stop this charade?

PS: Until I get a sample, so I can follow through with outside lab testing to identify what it is, would you share what your tests show the residuals reported by Skyhighler are?

They shipped my MZ12X samples UPS Ground, and GW provided a P.O. Box address, but UPS won't ship to P.O. Boxes...so GW's MZ12X sample package is probably in limbo,

"Can I use UPS to ship to a P.O. Box?

UPS will only accept shipments to a valid street address. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. If a shipper should use a P.O. Box address, the recipient´s telephone number must be included on the label. Your package that is addressed to a P.O. Box may be delayed, will not be covered by any UPS Service Guarantee, and will require an address correction charge. Additionally, Army Post Office (APO) and Fleet Post Office (FPO) addresses are not accepted." http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/resources/sri/ship_box.html

So, they probably got a strip mall shipper to send it UPS, but it's not going to be delivered until they get a street address. Mine had a tracking number (which wasn't emailed to me...) I suggested yesterday that PureZHO should contact GW for a street address, and/or immediately send more samples in the most expeditious manner possible.

Better yet, if this is indeed 100% dimethyl ether, they should send enough for GW to test it in his closed loop systems.

Ummmm, the Po Box is at a UPS store, whom have received everything else for me, as the physical address is also included.

A puzzlement..........

Patrick told me on 3/7 he sent your samples, there should be a tracking number.

I have four cans left, I just sent a request for a composition analysis price quote from Avomeen, http://www.avomeen.com

It would appear that my email to Dr Z, reporting my failure to receive the samples, was adequate, as I received them express yesterday, with a ship date the previous day. Who knows what all happens at night with lost packages, when humans aren't watching and the gremlins are at play?

My read is that Dr Z may be further refining his product as we speak, starting with the original offering and culminating with the current one. I infer because he is paying attention to input, so keep it up.

My reason for suggesting this, is the first offering was not flammable, leading us to still wonder what it was, and the MZ12X cans tested by others before me mention a bitterant added, and the can I now hold in my can mentions nothing about a bitterant added, leading me back to the MSDS http://purezho.com/mz12x_msds.pdf , which doesn't identify a bitterant either, thus suggesting it has been taken out since the original offering.

Conjecture of course, as us'n fokels are wont to do when deprived of actual data, so let's cut to the actual chase.

I now have a case of MZ12X, which I will play with and turn the miraculous creation and real time wrecking crew loose on. We will both extract and test, as well as have the mixture tested for content and report back.

Hee, hee, hee, progress! Hope it turns out well, as we need all the tools in our toolbox that we can get, but ready for what is.

In mah dotage, ah have been shucked, and mah heart has been broken so many times, that I've come to rely on actual supportable facts.

I can understand the market forces that lead Dr Z to drag his feet up to this point, but think any marketing plan should include meeting the laws regarding full disclosure as to contents, sans actual formula. We are after all putting this stuff in our bodies.

As I've noted, truth is shorter than fiction, so I will continue to watch how smoothly things go, because that is what wolves and dogs do. They don't understand most of the verbiage, so they just watch for, "What is wrong, and what has changed with this picture?"

GW from the above, "My reason for suggesting this, is the first offering was not flammable, leading us to still wonder what it was, and the MZ12X cans tested by others before me mention a bitterant added, and the can I now hold in my can mentions nothing about a bitterant added, leading me back to the MSDS http://purezho.com/mz12x_msds.pdf , which doesn't identify a bitterant either, thus suggesting it has been taken out since the original offering."

GW, what's the date code on the bottom of the can? I posted pictures of the entire can back some posts in this thread, if you indeed have something different could we see some pictures of the can for comparison?

Thanks...

Thanks GW, your samples are dated on the bottom "2014.01.24" and mine "2013.12.18"

I expanded your pictures and the labels seem the same, the "Contains a bitterant to help discourage inhalant abuse" statement is still there.

I think your going to need to check for seal material compatibility, the seal on my Mason jar 'dried out' from contact.

Sorry you're right. I dug out my machinist head set and found it. I forget about my one replacement eye lens that is not in focus at arms length and developing cataract on the other.

Looks like buna n would be a good choice on at least this chart.

I'll dig some more..........

Come on dude, try to be a little more obvious.

Please?

Obvious? I only make this kind of oil because I ran across these gasses. I've been an RSO man for years. Don't like the taste of most BHO I've tried. And certainly wouldn't want to make oil with the gasses that have been available to a consumer like myself.
I saw a product called ZHO in a dispensary and decided to try it after being told a little about the gas being organic. I did my research an tracked the company down and made my own. If something is obvious, maybe because it's the truth.
I believe in the gas, so I sell it too

Except ZHO still isn't available. Only MZ12X is, which is not anything close to what they claimed ZHO was.

This stuff seems legit, I'm going to give it a shot. Any updates from users? Has anyone tried freezing the cans before blasting?

I did a Mason jar quick soak, and found it extracts quickly and thoroughly. I also found the extract to have excellent aroma and taste, and contrary to what some others have posted here and there, I got no more 'green tinge' than I get with canned butane using the same extraction procedure.

You almost need to freeze the cans to get the pressure down to a normal range. Also check out the YouTube video where they suggest using a little wad of steel wool packed in the top of the tube to diffuse the high pressure spray to keep excessive chlorophyl from being extracted.

They lowered their prices a little, but I still feel it's too expensive unless run in a closed loop system.

This is a great solvent, I hope it catches on, and possibly dominates the market.

Thanks for your input, I've seen the YouTube with the steel wool, im concerned about what could be in the steel wool though, I bet its treated with some kind of oil to prevent it from rust. I might give it a shot but im gonna soak the steel wool in iso first.

Im glad to hear Mz12 produces tasty aromatic extract, l thought that might just be a advertising point. Do you think there claims of only needing half as much mz12 as butane to get the same amout of extract are true too?

I got 6 cans delivered for $60 a bit more than I'd pay for a 12 pack of quality tane, there large cans tho so it comes out to about 10 cans worth of butane, but if its extacts more product with less solvent its worth it. Ive seen your residual tests, thanks for providing that data, it looks like mz12 is also one of the cleanest products on the market also.

It extracts harder and faster, but you still need enough to clear the tube, so no, that's mostly hype imo. Your getting a rather exotic solvent for only a slightly elevated price, I encourage everyone that's curious to give it a try. The prices should drop like a rock when they get some competition, in the mean time I wish them well for a kind service to the community.

Cold stuff, get some gloves, I bought some cheap Polar Penguin fishing gloves via eBay,

Right on, I'll keep a close eye on whats coming out and make sure it doesnt go from yellow to green and maybe use some cheaper tain to push out the last amount of mz12 to save a few bucks and definitely use some gloves.

Im all about cleaner safer extract methods when im out of Mz12 im going to give this stuff a shot, its 200 proof ethyl alcohol, a gallon is $80 delivered.
