Any follow up on the arguments presented from both sides?

Did Conroy come across as focused and poignant?

Or like he was about to cash an 100k cheque?

There you go out of the horses mouth, who cares if people can only afford 1-3 grams per month unless your monthly disposable income is in the 10K range, think about the commercial growers. Wont someone think of the commercial growers. Well I guess the gov should have planned it better, eh?

Actually if you're taking about commercial entities how about the 200+ hydroponic stores Canada wide which supported the PPL's users. ATM probably 1/3 will shut down in three months is that is it for the licenses.

Every news feed I'm reading it sounds like the fed gov case was weak. Or maybe I'm just reading it that way :p

I'm only looking at this from a no law knowledge here but the gov made 0 effort to stamp out the "abuse" of the system that they are talking abot. No inspectors, no questions as why someone need to run 400 lights in a commercial space costing 10K per month to rent LOL. Where did they think the money to run these 100+ light places came from? All it would have taken is for Revenue Canada to do an audit and the large places would have dropped like a sack of door knobs.

Well most were running on small margins as it is. Most store in the city areas only make 20-30% markup, you have to deal with stores laundering money and there's not much customer loyalty.

Also with the licenses a lot of growers got them and are now affraid of continuing after April 1st.

I can guarantee you most stores will only have enough for 2-3 months of running capital saved up if that.

When 99% of the stores income come from growers from only one industry when that tanks the stores tank instantly. Ask any store in the lower mainland and they are all 50-75% less profit margin in the last few months.

Also should note every store for the last 3 months at least has hardware sales drop to pretty much nothing. Problem now is there's gonna be a monster amount of used equipment on the market if the system is over.

hey buds

if you dont mind me sharing?

everything is in balance. i could bet that more commercial growers and micro closet growers will be firing back up again. i know, the massive investments people made on lice was good the past 3-5 years, but, their quated margins are based in that paradigm. i would like to see an average on their last 20 years to get a better idea.

anywhere there is a loss there is always something to make it up in other ways i have found

Well with the current system there's will always be a black market or personal growing problem is when most of the stores only have one customer base when that base drops the stores business drops the same level. Very few hydro stores and hydro wholesalers are diversified in their customer base. The stores its because they were afraid that having old ladies buying hose plants or orchid stuff would scare away the main market customers on top of that is just being complacent and not seeing into the future.

MMAR has been a crazy bump for hydro stores....Sure some people shop around online for equipment...but most patients I know have thier "favorite" growshop and are usually pretty loyal.

That being said....the HW sales are done.....just nutes moving...and that has slowed too. Everyone I know bought just "enough" to finish their last run....Hell one guy even switched his nutes up to a cheaper option cause he just didn't care anymore.
