Anyone using BC Technaflora 3-part?

I'm using BC Technaflora 3-part nutes in my grow...

My stuff is growing ok, but my last harvest I feel could have been better and I just wanted to see how my PPM level compares to what you guys/gals are running to see if maybe I'm a little off on something...

Oh, don't forget to mention what your baseline PPM level is (pure water, no nutes), otherwise the ending number is completely meaningless... :)

I'll be looking forward to see whatcha got to say! Thanks!

RO water is the only way to go. BC and other nutrients are specially formulized to work off of base RO water and create a perfect stable ph. some nutes are designed for tap water or hard water. RO has ph of 6.5 and ppm 0. i got to about 1300ppm in flowering big trees last time. be careful, that awesome blossoms stuff is potent!

i love BC nutes since they're cheap and absolutely complete formula, i don't even use the thrive alive as i don't think it's needed. but any additives work great with them as they are chemical. just remember to flush well. peace n green thumbs

I've used them in soil and got up to about 1200 ppm as per directions on the bottle... (no tds meter)
Tap water here is good for tds, the hydro guy told me it's about 175-225 on average... Depending on the season.
Never ph'd while using the stuff, and never had any probs..
If you don't have it use awesome blossoms, it will give it that x-tra boost.
As said above though be careful it's strong stuff...

Thanks for the replies...

1300ppms.. Is that including boost/grow and awesome blossom? Or is that just the nutes? Also, are you using Cal-Mag or Thrive Alive? I was under the impression Cal-mag was necessairy with RO, but since BC nutes are supposed to be "complete", is it unnecessairy to use Cal-mag with BC nutes?

I'm using RO water... I just thought I'd throw the starting PPM question in there incase someone posted who does not. :)

Thanks again!

what up gryphn.... I use BC nutes in my dwc buckets. My tap water runs about 8.0 ph and 200 ppm. I just use "ph down" to get it to 5-6. By the end of flowering i usually end up around 1200ppm. I also mix in cal-mag everyonce in a while. Dont know if its needed but it sure hasnt hurt.

In flowering i use awesome blossom and/or pk 13/14 as a booster. I like both products but the pk seems to boost yield more.

***my ppm 's are including nutes and additives. Also I know mine have drifted as high as 1600 ppm

I've used it also..Hydro and soil ...No problems either way..Used distilled water 6.0 ph 0 ppm's...I stuck to the "Recipe for Success" that came with my order..If you don't have a copy go to thier web site and download it..They have a forum also...No Ph problems at all...No need for anything other than what is in the recipe...The soil did have some lime in it..I use the Green bottle of Thrive Alive in place of Superthrieve in my organic soil grows...Good stuff has the B-1 plus other goodies in it..Good Luck with it...peace mitsu1

I don't use it but a friend uses it and he just goes by the directions that comes with the 6 pack combo. He grows in large rockwool blocks and hasn't used it in soil. I don't think he's gone over the 1300ppm formula. I love how it's $18 for a 6 pack which won't even buy you a liter of FloraNova.

Also plants seem to take it pretty well, even at young ages little to no burn at high ppms (nutes not every watering).

I use it in mediumless recirculating DWC and never adjust ph. However, it's been my experience that the formulas they give are VERY strong. I start at 1/4 strength and slowly bump it up from there. I doubt I'll even hit as high as 1300ppm through flower this run. Maybe 1100 tops, and I'm halfway through flower and still only at about 950.

I just use the recipe for success at 75% strength, and it works great for alot of strains.

I use the whole package, thrive alive and awesome blossoms are properly named. Also I use tap water but my tap water is pretty low ppm and the ph in the later flowering stages requires no ph down adjustment. I don't use a meter and I stir the tank daily as thrive alive settles. The 6 packs are great but by-the-gallon is even cheaper.

Flushing is a must with BC nutes. Don't overlook it.

I use BC Boost, BC Bloom, and Awesome Blossoms the last time around. The first grow I used GH nutes & did O.K with them. Then I bought the Technaflora starter pack and liked how simple the 2 part is. The only thing I regret is not reupping my supply of Floralicious and Floralicious Plus. I don't think I have the same fragrance of bud like I did before or if its just bad bud. It smells like hay maybe after the cure it will be better. Anyway this time around I'm getting more Floralicious the downside is it does smell up the place.

I'm trying this line of nutes right now for the first time.

I'm growing in a soilless mix, when you guys say make sure to "flush" using this line of nutes does that mean just giving your plants plain water for a couple weeks or do you mean to actually flush each plant like you would for a nute overdose?

Will it be ok to use the Awesome Blossoms at the strength the recipe recommends? I'd hate to ruin something that far into the grow.

whats up man. ive used technaflora 3 part for a while along with awsome blossoms, Thrive Alive B1 Green & Red bottle, Sugar Daddy, Root 66 in my DWC. good stuff but i recently went to Humboldt due to prices rising in B.C. products. But im still using what i have left of the B.C. products before i dip in to the Humboldt. But all-in-all some good stuff and had amazing results using it!!!
