Just finished watching Weed 2 with Dr. Sanjay Gupta....WOW!
Now that is the type of pro mmj programming we need!
I was balling my eyes out when I first heard and saw media about Charlotte Figg,and I just finished balling my eyes out watchingnpoor little Vivian and her family deal with her epileptic seizures,doped up on pharmaceutical drugs that clearlybare dangerous...the poor girl couldn't even walk!
I am glad her parents took her to Colorado and got the okay to try Charlottes Web.She still had seizures but went from 75 a month to only 10 a month.
I was appalled by the New Jersey governor.I was appalled when they went back to New Jersey andbwere given leaves of a strain that had CBD,but an ineffective and insanely,no,absurdly low amount and had to extract the oils themselves with no way of testing it for molds,mildews,pesticides,etc.
Vivian's father tried the oil after extracting it to make sure it wouldn't get little Vivian high (he felt nothing).The home extracted oil didn't work.
I am glad they finally moved to Colorado where little Vivian can get the medecin and treatment she so rightfully needs and deserves!

Hopefully someone will bring a cut of that here if it really does work. I felt bad for that family that was horrible. Someone should make that their life mission to distribute that cut far and wide if it really helps those kids.
Christy is a piece of work. I have seen him on these issues previously as well. Was more concerned about making sure you can gamble your money away rather than help the citizens. Im sure gambling issues cause more problems than even "recreational" pot.
That place in the UK had some shitty plants and well a lot of the other places did too. You would think with being allowed to legally grow to create medicine you would want it safe and plants healthy. Makes you wonder what your painkillers or antibiotics look like being produced if this is what the plants look like while under big pharma. Funny the camera even zoomed in on some of the plant issues a couple times.

Watered/fed the three big ladies in 3 gallon GH Cocotek Coco hempys with 2ml each Coco A and B per gallon of water which gives me an EC of about 1.6/1.7 since my tap comes out @ .6/.7 EC
Trimmed the tops off and removed the reflector to go bare bulb vertical once again.Will be giving them a day or two and switching to 12/12.Hopefully temps get and stay a little cool at night because it's 72°ambient temp in the Apt. tonight.
Last two clones finally rooted out of their rapid rooter plugs and I transplanted them to some Canna Coco and fed with 2ml per gallon of water each Coco A and B pH'd between 5.5 and 6.0

its easy to ignore adults in need of cannabis b/c the possibility of those faking it just to get high but how can dc lawmakers continue to ignore the kids that are suffering?
if a true breeding program was undertaken on a large scale then its likely one would breed equivalent strains to Charlotts Webb....maybe better.
its only a matter of time before things change with it scheduling and then prohibition of cannabis will be over.

I watched it too. 2 thoughts came to mind though.
A) Gupta is a huge slut. he is on our side now that the tide has turned overwhelmingly. He was *not* on our side a few years ago even. Ok, we forgive you Sanjay, now go on making your money...
B) I'm a father of a daughter who, among many other things, also has epilepsy. Fortunately our Neuro diagnosed her and has been our Blessing. She has her epilepsy controlled now.
Epilepsy can change over time. One type of seizure can stop and a new type of seizure replace it. (Paying attention to what they do during seizures can help diagnose what type it is - which can suggest the medicine to control it. Parents please pay attention during the event.)
Watching all the press on MMJ re: epilepsy is sure interesting but I don't think I would go mmj without working thru a neuro and the modern epileptic drugs.
So what always strikes me are the unanwered or un-televised questions about what drugs they tried, for how long, etc... as a parent of a child with epilepsy, it is hard not to compare situations and I dont' really. But I'm always currious about which, what, did they really try any drugs... or do they have personal or religious prohibitions against epileptics and for mmj "as" an epileptic... makes me think about alot of things. in the end I take the story at face value though.
Believe me you want zero seizures a day for your child. 10 is too many for me.

oh man, I almost forgot, my bro, the guy that first got me blazed just recently decided he could stand no more of sitting back and watching and decided to give growing a try. this man is making me look bad. he has my cj and slh cause he wanted all the extras I had and liked both of them. he's 3 weeks into flowering and has these hookers DIALED under my old 600w in his own "custom" mix of coco,perlite and some organic soil(I tried to tell him coco dtw). I couldn't grow the cj without mg defs, tried 4 times and gave up. he's killing it over there though. i'll get some pics to post up soon. I'm so stoked I just had to share it, my bro is stomping ass and with very little help from me other than a rough outline of ph and how to feed. my padawan is a natural

Anyone got some ideas on stashing males without trashing my current crop? Have a bunch of TD White Dawg males and a pair of OGR Wifi-Aliens i would like to collect from and store.
Was gonna plan on just keep cutting em down until i can line up with a vacation schedule and let em rip then as it would give me a couple weeks between the next batch having bunch of pistils.

cut them if you have clones or take some if you don't. if you get some balls anyway water will kill the pollen if you catch it quick enough. the only time I made a cross I put everything involved outside until the deed was done and calyxes started swelling so my bud crop didn't catch any stray bullets
As far as what I have heard Charolette's web is being brought here to Florida. There is a bill in the senate for the legal use of CBDs in treating children with epilepsy. One of the supporters is a local represenative of my home town, his daughter has sever epilepsy.
So expect to see more CBD strains available soon if the bill does pass such as Charolette's Web and Cannatonic #4 (14:1 CBD). And yes with the proper strains one could ultimate improve upon the current CBD cuts, there is alot of testing that has to be done to ensure you are finding and working the higher CBD phenos.
