I'm happy for you.
You're right, the environmental rant was a waste of text. It fell on closed ears. But then, we should focus on the positive, you're closing your business.
Next in line?

WTF?

Devolve much?

Forums are full of all types, but there seem to be a lot like you.

Got all of the answers from behind the keyboard. Shit is funny. :)

On a good note, I'm in Denver, and marijuana is legal here. Oh but wait, I shouldn't grow it, or posses it because it is against the "law."

OK then....

Have fun guys. I know I will be here in Denver.

i'm in denver too and it has not always been legal to grow and posses herb. when they told us we couldn't grow some of us adapted and/or ignored them. stoners stood their ground so things changed

the government telling you to do something is no reason to give up something you cared about

you close up shop and they won ...... you change your labels and live to fight another day, you win.

All right let's get to the heart of this so that this thread can come to an end.

No one won, or lost. No I don't want to change my labels. No I don't want to withhold the "truth" about products because a Government official has come knocking on my door.

This is just one thing in a long list of things that has happened in this business. I don't make 1 dollar from this business. I do it because I like to grow plants, and help people grow plants.

I have been working 7 days per week for over 6 months now. The EPA is just the straw that broke the camel's back. I am not throwing in the towel, or letting someone win.

We have another very profitable business. It is in the same industry, and we deal with a lot of the same people. I have also been filming a cannabis related web series when I can make time.

So I had to step back, and decide which things I would continue to do. This business was at the bottom of the list on things to continue to do.

With the closing of this business I can focus more on our profitable business, my web series, and doing consulting work.

I don't think anyone would choose to continue to work 7 days a week for free when I can work much less, and bring in a way more money.

Keep in mind I know how to grow plants, and I live in Denver. :)

I will now be exiting this thread. I appreciate everyone's advise(good, and bad:)), and if anyone in Colorado ever needs help with their garden I am always available for free consulting services.

Unless you own a dispensary, and then you gotta pay for that shit. :)

It's been real.

if you actually read it properly they are not trying to silence you at all.. these chemicals whether organic or not need to be regulated. just because its organic it doesn't mean its good for you. poisons can be created organically.
I would guess if a child or relative of yours got sick due to the government not regulating it, you might want to sue. but then on the other hand you have a big issue with someone questioning your product. seems iffy to me.

I don't remember which thread. I do remember that when I posted it my tablet typed there you instead of there you go. Miles commented after that with some sort of emoticon.

Thought you were closing your thread....you are perceived as not taking it ALL in.....admire your chutzpa but not the attitude.

EPA will still inspect, regardless of label change. You're not out of the woods yet.

No matter what kind of business you are in you are going to deal with the government and government run agencies at some point. I work for a large financial exchange (Around 11 million transactions per day), and you wouldn't believe the shit we deal with and the hoops we have to jump through. Just a part of doing business.
