I have a chemxsour in a 5gal dwc... and the plant outgrew the roots...
I mean.. the roots are healthy....the plant just took off....can't hardly hold itself up.. i just put her in flower and kinda tied her up....
Can't wait to get all my parts for your system....so stoked...

Personally I would never run any DWC/RDWC system without the use of VEG-A. I'm sure many growers had failures going straight from clone to DWC/RDWC. VEG-A really helps grow your roots and give you more room for error and stress for later on in life. I've never lost a crop again after the use of VEG-A, Chlorine and Bigger Air Pumps at the rates in my tutorial.
I never finished my RDWC tutorial part 2 but I would like to give you some nutrient advise just incase you go with the nutrients that I use. Don't use the Kool Bloom in Flowering. It's not needed and can cause an imbalance if you don't know what you are doing. It's more advanced to go that route and it doesn't equate to bigger buds if you nute your plants correctly. I just did a test for the first time only using GH Micro and GH Bloom and my buds are denser than before and look perfect. I'm basically using Lucas's formula but maybe not at his exact rates. The rates that I see that are perfect if you are using 1000 Watters is 1 part Micro to 2 parts Bloom. Day 1 Flower should be set between 700-900 PPM (500 scale) and around Day 10 of flower should be between 900-1050 PPM. Veg-A should be around 500 PPM and VEG B should be around 750 PPM. The reality of the situation is that your meter will tell you when you are in the right area because you want to see your PPM falling over time.
Its time to dump my solution tonight so i will give this a shot, just finished week 5. I wonder if this will help my cal issues for future. Calmag doesnt really seem that great and shoots my ppms really high even at 2/5th dosage.
Any tips for RO users or will this be the better solution? (i know you dont use or recommend but unless i dump a couple ounces of ph down each day tap wont stay stable in my parts....evidently others in counties near me have the same shitty water as well so i guess im not a special case)

Are you in soil or hydro? I always recommend RO if you have good water pressure. I can't help much with hydro but if youre in soil lightly amend some crab shell meal into the top of your soil.
Hydro, same system as snype. water pressure is 60psi showing on the filter
I just ran a test using 1 part GH Micro to 2 Part GH Bloom and nothing else. It is the best results that I've had to date. I was surprised. No Bloom Boosters at all and no Cal Mag. Sweet Spot seems to be 6.0-6.1 pH. With 1,000 Watters, I set flowering to 2EC/1,000TDS(.5)/1400PPM(.7). If you were using less light then you would go less on the nutes but at the same rates. I can't tell you how much per mL because of the displacement of the roots as the plants grow. You have to look at your meters. Change out the system every 10 days because an imbalance of nutrients will occur in most situations. Water should be 200 PPM or less from your tap or RO is better. Top off solution every day or 2 and add back nutrients at the same rate above until it hits 2 EC. You can let the solution dip down to 1.5 EC and add back your nutes to bring it back to 2 EC or you can add back every day if you wanted to. With less light you would need less nutrients but you will know from observing the numbers on your meter. As your plants drink, they use the solution. Say you had the solution set to 1000 PPM today and there was 40 gallons total, in 24 hours they have used some of the solution and there is 36 gallons of solution because they used 4 gallons. Take a PPM reading before you top off the rez. The reading shouldn't be more than the day before. If it is then you are too high on your nutrient strength.
Sour Diesel IBL
I'm seeing variation in the Sour Diesel IBL, at least in structure. I've separated and labeled the plants. I believe there are 2 pheno's, The Sour Diesel Pheno and possibly a Hindu Kush pheno. If my observations are correct, it seems that the Hindu Pheno comes out more than the Sour Diesel pheno. I'll know more as they grow with pictures to follow soon.

I got a couple of friends here trying to finish these smoke tests to see where all my pheno's stand. The first test is complete between Illuminati StarDawg/Nag Champa Kush and KK StarDawg. The consensus is that Illuminati StarDawg is more enjoyable and KK StarDawg is more potent and has more extreme flavor. These guys seem to be sweating StarDawg #6 more but haven't smoked it yet. StarDawg#6 got first place out of 8 in terms of how the jar smells only. They were given samples to take home to complete the tests. There were no names on each package. Only numbers so they don't know what they are smoking.
For me personally so far, I believe that The White is the most potent of all the pheno's. It's been curing for a month now and I smoked a small joint last night and I was on another planet. StarDawg#6 looks like it'll be able to hang with KK and Nag Champa which is real good to know. Instead of calling it Mass StarDawg, I'm going to call her Pootie Tang. StarDawg #9 keeps finding its way to the bottom of the list. More to come.

Snype what size rez are you using in the veg-a flood tables, is it a 40gal?
It's a Botanicare 20 Gallon White Rez with Lid. It says it's 20 Gallons but actually holds 16.5 Gallons.
Pootie Tang will draw you a picture of how he gonna kick your ass, then mail it to you ten days in advance.
