I really wonder sometimes....in what circles do they think this makes sense? The doctors will give me pills in a second when I say I get extreme anxiety which rolls into brutal insomnia. But when I say hey there's a natural effective alternative they look at me and say oh there's no way you'll get that.....

I understand doctors taking a cautious approach to giving out scrips for weed but what I don't understand is how they can push out pills like they are nothing .. ..

I was all excited to bring the HC documents to my doctor and have another serious chat with him until I read this...

The LPs will be selling directly to the end users aka patients. No middle man. High margins. A dream come true.

It was a dream come true with the old system and these guy are the same ones that were running the 100-500+ lighters that was used as an excuse for the gov to call out "organized" crime is taking the system to the cleaners we must change.

The public heard "organized" crime and that was the end of all support. Now they excpect people who grew lb's for $200 in the comfort of their own home to now be their customers and buy from them for $2240-$3500+ for lb LOL

Believe it or not I know of one person who paid 25K for 25grams to his doctor. This was about 5 years ago.

Wow 25k! I couldn't imagine spending the price of a new car just to be legal. That's messed up.

EDMONTON

- A husband and wife are facing numerous charges after RCMP say they discovered a “sophisticated” marijuana growing operation in the backroom of a barn on their property in Lamont County.

Nearly a garbage bag full of harvested marijuana leaves, 50 seedling plants and growing supplies were seized Monday, Vegreville RCMP said in a news release.

Police initially started investigating the common-law couple after receiving a complaint of a domestic dispute.

The 44-year-old man was arrested Sunday near his home west of Mundare. Inside his vehicle, police found 92 grams of marijuana.

That led officers to execute a search warrant at the family farm early Monday.

Police found a grow-op that utilized an electrical and hydroponic system capable of producing numerous plants effectively, the release said.

It is believed that the dismantling of this operation will put a significant damper on the drug trade in the area,” said Const. Curtis Harsulla in the release.

The man and a 44-year-old woman — neither of whom can be named because their charges have not been formally sworn — face numerous charges, including producing and possessing a controlled substance. Both will soon appear in Vegreville provincial court.

Mundare is 85 kilometres east of Edmonton.

Somewhat off topic, but definitely Alberta related. Get a load of this bust...
"Sophisticated" operation dismantled
I love the dead clones as evidence. Go RCMP!

WOW...50 seedlings growing in the back of a barn...They better check see if it's run and financed by "Toni Soprano". With that kind of illegal activity, no wonder the cops are saying...“It is believed that the dismantling of this operation will put a significant damper on the drug trade in the area,” said Const. Curtis Harsulla in the release.

I guess Const. Curtis Harsulla is the RCMP's expert witness on LARGE crime in the area...lol.

OMG...50 seedlings...That's hilarious...LMFAO!!

Peace...B

So theoretically, if I take left over plant material from each harvest, mulch it and feed it to worms, would the worms constitute as "cannabis" since it was a major part of their diet? If you could drug test any worm I bet it would test be positive for THC.

This is the mentality here in Alberta. It's pretty laughable really. Lots of conservative supporters here. I doubt this one pathetic bust will have any significance what so ever. Besides they should be out stopping real crime like busting the meth labs instead of bothering some old ass farmer with a little pot. Those rural RCMP detachments have nothing better to do sadly.
