Hey buddy! Thanks for the welcome, and awesome pictures! Am I to guess you're on the western slope? I used to live in Junction, but couldn't take being that far from civilization lol

Keep them frosty shots coming!

Just a bit west of Ft Collins

Been on a Glue binge:

I'm headed to CO tomorrow, I'd like to pick up some medicinal Harlequin cuts while I'm there so I can take them back to east coast patients. Anyone know where these cuts are currently being sold?

And where is the best weed in Colorado right now? Organic, burns good, legit genetics? Am I asking too much?

I'm not going for clones, I'm going to see what the vibe is in a legal state because my state is expected to be one of the next to legalize. Getting some medical clones while there would just be a side project.

Thanks,
cc

No lines on the Harlequin here..

Best herb in Colorado right now? Probably someone in this thread rather then going "shopping"

Plenty of juicy clones to be had though...just be wary of the stores, tons of bs on craigslist i hear as well. if you want something good ~~ connections ;)

It's all over Colorado for free. lol Well, at least in most areas.

Considering colorado's problem with mites, I wouldn't buy clones either. I have extra precautions in place against those buggers. No problems and don't use pesticides. Been a crazy ride here in Colorado for sure.

Keep it Clean! :D

Me too.... predatory mites.... nematodes... worst I get is fungus gnats (knock on wood) but I mostly pop seed as opposed to gathering other's clones.... I've only collected 2 strains from others in CO... one was glue... the other was called "fuckin incredible".... the sample I had of it was just that....

Haven't gotten the Borg recently, but I just had and dealt with root aphids. Not too bad in RDWC.

Most of that crazy price spike is all taxes. The quality is out there though. When you are paying 18-20 bucks a gram recreationally it should look like you payed that much a gram. Don't settle for less and don't waste your money on lesser than.

Broad mites, or Polyphagotarsonemus latus, can be a serious pest.....

The predatory mite Amblyseius swirskii is most effective against broad mites... they're also preyed upon by lacewing larvae, and other general predators.

Lacewings are a bit large to effectively combat broadmites, same with ladybugs.

Triple dosage refined neem spraying has them effectively combated for me.

Smurph- have you grown in batch 64 yourself? sounds like you're really plugging the tupur. how does it compare
I like the Tupur because it's consistent and it goes well in my current 3 way limed mix, I dislike batch 64 because of the awful water retention, low quality of ingredients, and the word of countless other growers who were given samples like me and were disappointed with the product.

My current mix is 1 part Tupur 1 part Ocean Forest 1 part Black Gold, with 190g/cuft of Lime, I endorse all three of those brands currently as consistently delivering what I want in the finished mix, the Black Gold delivers water retention, the tupur aeration, the ocean richness, making for a lovely blend that requires no real "feeding" until flowering, but without being overly rich as pure Ocean often is.
