Hey Joesy, Do you think there is any chance it could be related to the water? I was googling around and noticed a thread where someone was discussing SoCal switching to a different water source and using more Chloramine. Do you carbon filter your water and/or RO or tap or ? Anyone notice a possible correlation? Storm Shadow - could you fill me in on your fix? thx

it my be the problem in cali but I can get a cut that is perfectly healthy that someone is running here with no problems and it will dudd for me every time.

Sour Dub is still around. The dudding seems to be caused by the broad mites that everyone passed around to each other like the clap hehe.

at least when a friend had his shit tested that is what the lab found

I hope I didn't come off odd, I was just letting you all know it's 99.99999 percent likely fungal, wilting BS

it's a shame but the real cure is the landfill for anything infected, that or root drench with all the nasties you can get your hands on that combat fungi, then take clones from the clean tops that are still flexible, and rinse repeat a lot till maybe you get rid of it

I call it plant AIDS, shit spreads if you don't keep that shit in check

whole branches will pull out of the socket, no breakage, just straight whole branch just pulls out

buds finish small, no trichs, all red hairs and dark

big sign is all branches that are not under direct light don't show symptoms as those under the light

sounds close to what mine did but there was deffinatly no bad smell, and they root good, normal I should say, your theory sounds better than any I have heard,

on the water deal, I ran tap and ro with the same thing happing, and I am not in cali .

look up fusarium, it isn't just in Cali

first it may have been sprayed in Cali, but clones travel fast, you of all know this Josie


there are stages of fucked with fusarium, pay to get it tested, you can send in plant, soil, and root samples

again, my best advice is throw that shit away, no strain is worth fusarium


you could always try and tissue culture

We had an extremely nasty fusarium that wiped out huge shows here in a matter of months, loss was unspeakable!

If you have anything resembling a fusarium get rid of it quick and and take a physan bath!

Thanks for the info. Looks like it's really cheap for what it does but from what I found it's only available in California to commercial growers with a pesticide license.

I am not a verdera sales rep nor do I gain any benefit from recommending it to people.

What I do have however is personal experience with mycostop as well as the anecdotal experience of many other growers here in the triangle and mycostop works.

Verdera has multiple peer reviewed trials on numerous crops in numerous environments showing how effective and efficient mycostop is.

I have to wonder , what makes your garden special that it does not work? Do you know you had viable spores?

Here's one of San Diego's Finest Cuts. Alien Dog - Ether pheno.

She's had her performance anxieties in the past - whatever the fuck it was, nobody really ever figured out - but hey, I'm just a Tard.

I just ran the Alien Dog Ether in a little greenhouse and she sure as shit wasn't dudded now. It had been quite a while since I had enjoyed this lovely lady and it was a glorious return. She suffered from her usual Mag deficiency for a bit, and had a subprime position in the box, but she still turned out great. It reeks and hits me like the way I remember.




I started another thread about Adog showing up on Colbert:

Alien Dog. Great strain, spawned other greats. It was mentioned on the Colbert Report on 10/8. I just wanted to say congrats to Obsoul33t - not many breeder's strains get mainstream mentions. Of course, they changed the spelling on ya, and there's obviously that other guy in the picture, but truth is, the honor is yours.

FWIW - BOG says he was never given pollen from Rez.

He states that Sour Dubb is from what he now calls "Sour LSD"...

Lifesaver = Jacks Cleaner/Blueberry x BOGbubble

LSD = Lifesaver Diesel = (Jacks Cleaner/Blueberry x BOGbubble) x NYCD

However BOG also offered beans called Sour Lifesaver.

Sour Lifesaver = Sour Bubble x (Jacks Cleaner/Blueberry x BOGbubble)

I don't know (remember) BOG's strain timeline well enough to pin point which of his creations came first...and I understand the story on what she could be has changed a couple of times over the years.

I simply accept, that Sour Dubb is one of three possible combinations:

1. Sour Lifesaver x NYCD

2. Sour Bubble x LSD

3. Sour Bubble x NYCD (if it was in fact Rez pollen it would have been NYCD F2)


Anyway...I can't help it. I really like the strain / genetic histories. So much gets lost or muddied over the years - sure would be nice if it didn't.

Regardless - Sour Dubble is some of the best smoke on the face of the planet. I was offered "Sour LSD" seeds to give a run and make a comparison - I think I might just have to accept that offer.

Plenty of mixed reports about her too, but she was the top performer this round at 33 grams. Reeks, I mean absolutely reeks. Smells way better than I usually see her turn out indoors, smells kinda like the Adog but danker...thanks to the dubification. I'm looking forward to running her again.
