HELP....triangle kush? INFO?

werd up realtrip
the white has the nice frost and growth kinda.... but not really... looks like the tk. the tk is wayyyy more leggy and and stretchy. the white grows stockier an shorter. the calyxes in the white tend to crown and foxtail a bit more, with shorter internodial spacing.
AS FOR TASTE YOUR DEAD ON.
the white is kinda bland in comparsion to the tk.
but if ya have a perfect batch you almost get that kushy kinda musky pine lemon that hints to the tk smell but not the taste.
the white definetly has that subtle hashy flavor

On a side note...the feller responsible for the TK has alluded to The White being a three way hybrid of the Triangle Kush...fwiw.

The soap opera of "The White", "Triangle", and "Triangle Kush". Now they are making a drama series. I'm glad that I stumbled onto this thread though. I smoked a fat joint of chemdogdd with some hash and oil like 3 hours ago and read through most of this thread. Learned a lot.

So now I know that "The White" and "Triangle" are not the same clone. The White came from a seed of RealTriTrip's Triangle. Still trying to figure out my mislabeled clone package that was supposed to contain "The White" and now I'm thinking that I might of found which one it is.

This thread seems pretty simple of what's going on. Seems like a miscommunication. Well now I know more stuff. Good luck getting back on track RealTri.

i have the info on the tks lineage.........and your last comment is dead on......except its never been reffered to as og here, where it was created. ive known the guy who did the cross for ages, surfed, and even had the guy whoop my ass showing me defense technique(kinda nutty) anyways..about a month ago,,,,he decides to start talking about strains(something rare here) most want good, but have no inclination to breed. well he starts talking about the cat piss degenerating(it was big here in late 80s 90s) and how nobody here was really buying bulk of an indica called maple,,,,,something new was needed, and the hindu kush was to be the gal. he crossed this gal to a lemon thai he got from a buddy, and in return this buddy crossed it back with another kush, my guess from taste and structure would be pinetar......

the same guy that created it......went to the triangle to take care of his grandmother......took the tk with him......he just up and out the blue started talking about how much work he put into her......and my other buddy sitting with us is just looking at me with a shit eating griN like " Yeah bitch,,,that deep!"
hes an old surfer dude,old,,,,,and has the mind and body of a child, a real nut case, just the guy to get down with some serious strain crossin,,,,,,i was pleased to get all my eggs in a basket so to speak.......puttin all the tid bits together.....but theres no doubt he is the guy.......i even had krome confirm it in a way without even knowing,,his story and mine match up spot on.........im now wondering if the other mystery kush in the mix is what me and krome know as Triangle, a completely different animal that had a big hay day here......time line was, it would make sense...taste wise, im not sure. its been a while since i had triangle(not tk).

From all of the pics I've seen, I would agree with thadocta that the TK and OG have an uncanny similarity between them. My triangle doesn't grow like that, with the calyx formation and such interspersed nodal structure. I do think though, that the triangle and TK are from the same family. All of the info OldFamilyRed posted, was spot on from the story I got from my buddy concerning the origins of the triangle.

realtritip does any of this ring a bell? krome says in his post that the story he heard regarding the origins of his triangle ties in with the story OLDFAMILYRED gave as the origin of TK.

So TK could've been bred in FL, taken to Emerald Triangle, taken back down to FL, crossed with an unknown plant (hashplant?) to create Triangle which was then selfed to create The White.

I know a lil rundown on the TK..it was created in the Mid 80's by an old redneck surfer in the sunshine state,not Cali...It's a cross of 2 old Kushs and a lemon thai...

It wasn't taken BACK to FL, it stayed in FL with the couple dudes who continued to run her there i believe. not sure if they still held the parents of TK, but TK blood is forsure in the white. yes, one great man is responsible for TK.. but he worked with people.

I was talking in terms of realtritip's story about the cut of emerald triangle (possibly tk?) that was brought from the emerald triangle down to florida.

I didn't run the TK bd, but from I've heard its old school OG. Some say it date from the early 80's, and it's the mother of most of the OG's around, including The White.
Rumors saying that the triangle is in fact a Triangle Kush s1. Some say no, that it's a 3 way cross out of florida. Yet again pretty hard to know the truth
