PPM's, and ph are not a concern. Just filter your water for chlorine, and chloromines. If not you are going to run into problems.

If you are waiting two weeks I would repot into a 3 gallon pot.

If you brew that buffaloam product you will be wasting the mycho's. If you have their straight compost I would brew that up.

What else did I not cover?

The buffaloam compost was one of the few recommended by certain organic fanatics that are no longer here.

water always has 2 days to evap. the clorine. i use 5gal buckets in rotation, then run through zero water filters. after that its tested and is always 0-6 ppm. is this the type of water suggested to water with? Also the byos flower mix is geared or tailored for, since you mixed it up...what type of mj?

The build your own soil mix has been tested on numerous different kinds of plants. Cannabis is one, but there are many types of vegetables as well. It is a great all around soil.

If you are bubbling out the water, or even letting the chlorine "evaporate" for a couple of days you should be good.

I suppose I am just use to most people having a chlorine filter.

Either that or being on well water.

Oh, how I miss well water. :)

We all have diffrent water depending on region. This is just how i get to the best water for me to drink and the ladies. My main goal is to grow mj......then that went farther and i do a indoor garden during winter. various vegetables. I plan on recycling the mj soil. Does ESO have any information in that would be advantageous to me?

my plan for this is to split it up into 4-2.5gal teas. I just cant use up so much tea to brew large batches. what is the suggested dilution rate to use with your Tea Kits.? after the tea is done brewing:biggrin: Sorry about all the questions........I'm trying to get into that brain of yours ESO!!

I use compost tea minimum of once per week. Soil drench it, and foliar feed it. The buffaloam you have is best to mix into the soil so you don't waste anything.

I use a humified compost , and worm castings as a base for my tea brews along with kelp, alfalfa, humic acid, sucanat, and fish.

I spent a couple of years tweaking my recipe, and it has performed very well thus far.

There is however a million ways to skin that proverbial cat.

The most important thing is introducing a shit ton of microbes to the soil, and leaf surface.

I think with that hash pile the thing to make is you extremely high. :)

Splitting the kit is not the best idea, but some people have done it with success.

When soil drenching use it full strength. When foliar feeding cut it half and half with water. The reason being that my tea kits and brewers tend to make a tea that is almost like mud. That is not necessarily good when you are foliar feeding. Great when soil drenching though.

Don't bother trying to get into my mind. You will only be disappointed by what lies inside. :)

MY kens gdp is starting to take off in the byos fl mix. i am taking the advice to veg a lil longer for more roots to grow .
the flower mix is treating her real nice.
ESO do you carry a grow mix for veg. that i could add to a 3.8 cu ft of promix?
How long with proper care can i store the byos fl mix that has been "cooking" for 2 1/2 wks?

The BYOS Flower mix was designed to veg as well. No need for another soil.

AS far as storing goes I don't have an answer as every situation is different. How long are you wanting to store it for?

like 3 wks longer from to day

It will just get better by then. I was thinking you were going to do some long term storage. Many years or more. 3 more weeks and the soil will have just composted more. Which is a very good thing.
