yeah, the gold or redbud. can remember buddies saying (about redbud) "man, i aint EVER payin' $35 an oz for no damned weed!" same fellows buy worse weed for $400 or more a pop now...oddly, gas was about 32 cents a gallon then, now its 3.23 down the street here...
I knew those same people back in 75. We got primo as it was called from all the Mexican States. It came in what we called loaves, usually buds 12 inches or longer. Got a lot of stuff from Central America back then as well.

Geeze! You guys are a bunch of younguns! I remember $10.00 lids, gas at .28 cents a gallon. This was what, 10 yrs or so before skunk was ever heard of! & yeah, this was before the trimmed, manicured bud. You got the tops, leaf, stem & all!
-- So... can any of you younguns tell me where all the old hippies are? Haha! :)
We got rocks, dirt clods, turds, bugs and lots of other unidentifiable things in the bricks back then.

In '75 you could cop a 1/4 pound of mexie for that. I was one of those who said they wouldn't pay that. That is till my first toke of red bud Columbian!

how about when Soupy Sales, on his last show at the very end, held up one hand with five fingers extended, and pulled one finger down for each person he thanked for making the show possible, until he was left with the bird finger and said, i especially want to thank the sponsor (whoever it was)

think he kind of cemented his demise with that one
