There was definitely a few surprises in this batch of tests.
With terpene profiles being tested, I have been reading up on the "entourage effect". Terpenes play a huge role in either blocking, or enhancing effects of Cannanaboids. The lemon pheno of Jack Herrer for example has the same terpene present in Bubba Kush, and both have the same effect, despite being on opposite side of the spectrum from each other. The terms Sativa, and Indica are outdated, and irrelevant.
The Super Sour OG that I cut at 56 days, did surprisingly well at 19.2%. She will get a shot outside this year to see if she does better in the sun.

The Headband also pleasantly surprised me, and explains the 20% yields in shatter. Unfortunately, this strain is more sensitive to heat and light, and the buds never chunked up. Has huge potential in the right environment.

I expected this run of OGHC to test higher than the last, but definitely has more terpenes.

The Tahoe OG I expected to test higher, but 20%+ is not bad for a first run.

And the winner of the bunch was no surprise! The WiFi Alien broke 25%, which is a new indoor high, with the 29.6% Sun Grown Forum cut still the best.

1 gram of 90% concentrate = 900 mg
4 grams of 20% flowers = 800 mg
Both have approximately the same retail value
$50 divided by 900 = $0.0555 per mg, and divided by 800 = $0.0625
the whole line of orally ingested meds, from capsules, cookies, tinctures, and candies range from $0.10 to $0.30 per milligram.
Your concentrate yield should be close to your potency number.
For example, running Headband buds, I pulled over 20% return, which is in line with the potency.
Large growers up north have already realized this, and are processing entire crops. There are added benefits in regards to shelf life and portability as well. Anything that is not head stash, goes into the safe until dispensed.

You can take it a step further when needing to convince people that concentrates, properly made, and ingested will go three times as far.
When you ingest by combusting in a joint, or a bowl, it is estimated that you only get as low as 20% of the available milligrams. Vaporizing flowers will be the most efficient method of capturing more of the Cannabanoids, but depending on the equipment, it will still fall short of vaporizing concentrates, and not even close to fully decarboxylated orally ingested meds.
Smoking is an archaic method of medication, and will be more and more associated with recreational consumption vs the refined, and tested medicine that will be available for medical patients. The effects on seizures that CBD has been shown, is the way of the future. Families are moving to CO so they won't be arrested for giving their children life saving medicine. Damn Arm.....You`re makin this old ass feel all "archaic"...........All I`m able ta DO in Hell is hit my Roor 7mm with ice and water , but at least it`s cleaned daily and the only dope that runs thru it is pre 98 Bubba......

Saw tv special on the seizure meds where the lil boy went from 8-12 seizures a day down to 1-2 a month.....and hey....I think it`s awesome the tinctures have healing properties for various afflictions , and I applaud your dedication and determination to produce a sound and solid business model for the future....but......

If you need to get loaded, then a THC tincture, properly tested to verify strength, will be a whole different experience compared to smoking. You ingest enough milligrams, and you won't be able to talk, let alone feel pain.

I've sampled some tinctures, but never seemed to really [for lack of a better term] "get off." I'm sure there was a disconnect with the dosage and the doses..

I had the third meeting with the retiring collective owner, my dispo owner in SF, and finally, the collective owners wife. After our second 2 hour meeting, I was told the wife would be the last obstacle.
Halfway through today's meeting, she tells me "you have my vote, but my husband is the tougher nut to crack". Funny thing is, that nut was already cracked.
I only found out tonight that there are actually 2 other people interested, but I was told I am the front runner. I also have an angle with my construction background. He wants me to commit to some sweat equity, and it just so happens roofing is my specialty! They will be making a decision, and letting me know in the morning. The potential is huge, and a lease to own is definitely a possibility.
There was a misunderstanding during our conversations, and I mistakenly understood that there was two 12k rooms, it is in fact two 6k rooms. But they are already plumbed for ebb and grow with a custom Cadillac feed manifold.
The reduction in wattage has me reconsidering needing anyone other than my protege that is on board to continue my nursery. The other grower may not be necessary. I would rather have the two rooms 4 weeks apart, and schedule the pruning/training a couple days every couple weeks or so. I think it is totally doable since I am running almost twice as many lights, but the same wattage.
After I get a couple runs in, I will be converting the rooms to an X O tree grow, and possible beds like Jack/Bobble. That will allow me to incorporate my 600s mixed with the 1000s.

For anxiety, Linalool combined with a CBD, and possibly CBG strain. Linalool is commonly found in lavender.

I think in our 6 hours of meetings he knows what I bring to the table. It's a rare quality to be able to look a man straight in the eye and have a conversation. We were both able to completely engage, and come to a solid understanding.
It's as good as done, but I won't count my chickens before they hatch. I think they just didn't want to seem too eager, and I am sure I will wake up to good news.
It's pretty amazing that this May will be three years since I grew my first plant. Not bad, if I don't say so myself lol

I discussed it with my protege tonight, and he is down to help above and beyond the nursery duties. I know that the man hours are concentrated at key periods in their flower cycle, and a couple days every two weeks may be all I need.

I got the call!! Meeting Monday morning to work out logistics, and sign the lease. If everything goes as planned, I should have one room full in the next 7-10 days, and my nursery relocated.
I have a dry erase board in service already , but yeah, totally doable with a part time partner. I know it could be done solo, but I will have several irons in the fire constantly.
I didn't even get out of bed until I got the call. So much was riding on this deal, I don't even want to think of what my options would be otherwise. I will have the juicy details Monday, and hopefully some shots of the new site.
