How you smoke that ish? you throw it on bong bowls or is it full melt? I dont really understand the bubble hash..

I keep winning free grams of "dry sift keef" from the dispensary. I swear to god the shit doesnt get me high. It makes joints smoke and run like shit, and tastes like dog shit.

Shit.. I tried the dry sift keef thang for a minute... IMO your right... Shit sucks and the high aint what ya would think... Always gave off a strange flavor. Vap pen,rolled and bowled... Nothing worked for me so I gave all mine to a friend...


Bubble hash on the other hand.. OMG.... Nice!!!

Carries over the flavors of the bud....
Simple to make and easy to smoke... Once you get used to it and stop coughing,that is... lol

Hash can be hard but flavorful smoke...

I like smoken mine with a screened pipe...
Blunts rock but are a waste..
Vap pens are kewl but lack the flavors i enjoy...

Straight screen in pipe,puff,puff,pass...
Helps to have a cap for the bowl...
Otherwise the hash will slowly burning between hits...

Pool 1 looks great... Dark green and really nice sized ladies...
Though im seeing the GSTF are going to be a handful and going to go big. Just hope it's not still a x3 stretcher in flower...haha

Pool 2 could use another week to gain some height but since im not going stacked bulbs here. I think these will work quite well...

Not as green as I would like to see but they are headed in the right direction... New growth looks good so im moving them forward...

I have found that keeping the pools leveled is a bitch...
As the plants grow and roots fill in the weight shifts around and one side of the pool always seems a touch higher than the other...
I've tried a couple things to adjust the pools as this happens.

Placing additional pvc elbows on the bottom of a couple support legs works good. Placing a pvc pipe across the top of the frame under the pool... Does not work so good...lol

Then this hit me... Im going to place 8 of these around each pool, all the same height. Should keep it level...

The issue is the size of my lower frames.
Supporting the whole of the bottom of the pool yet once filled the pools push outward and really need another 3" of base support.

Otherwise as the water/floods occurs over time and shift the CC around it tends to settle at the lowest point where the most draining is happening and this causes the pools side to bulge out a hair...

Keeping the pool totally balanced keeps every thing in place and well supported...

Im thinking of 2 options for the next pools...

Build a frame over the lower pool with support legs on the outside of the lower pool. _ Issue would be the height of the air gap under the top pool... Way to long and the top pool would have no wicking ability.

Another option... Adding a flat surface between the frame and top pool... Maybe foam wall of treated 1/4" wood boards... Being just a few inches wider that the bottom of the pool.

But... At the end of the day... I think these legs may be the simpler adaption... I need to go get some more pvc and we will find out..

Side note: The overflows are a must have with pools... The more the better...
They have saved my butt a few times already...

I think that's what im seeing here...

I was looking at pool 2 a little closer just now and this is what I see...

So I've been doing some goofy shit with the rooms environment this last week. Trying to keep cost down... Nothing I thought to drastic though...

For the last 7-8 days I have been running the 2 600s from 6pm till 10-11 am and the 400 over pool 3 off 6pm till 11-12 pm...

One day I tried just running the 6" exhaust then tried just the 4" after running both and having my RH at 35%...

Highest I've let the temps go is 84f but most the time 80f is the norm.

But...

A the night before last I left the exhaust fans off and left the door to the room open... Worked good temp 81 rh 50 ish.. Till...
The GF gets up and closes the door sometime in the early am...

I get up around 10ish and am like FWH... NOOOOOoooo....lol

Temps were around 95 for who knows how long...
No more than 5-6 hours though...

Ive also been keeping the air circulation fan down on the floor blowing over the lower res pools and the CC trying to keep the RH up.

The cool intake fan pulling cold fresh air in from outside is also located right behind these plants....

Then during the day with the 2 600s off and the exhaust off the temps go in the 70s as does the RH...

So if im right this should be a easy fix...

I turned on the exhaust set at 50% power,raised the air circulation fan to blow over the tops and flipped light on set at 50% power for pool 2...

Going to use 4" ducting to over the intake air to the center front of the pools and was planing on having the exhaust running 24/7 after the 10 anyways...

I think....

It's simply not enough air flowing around those ladies and with the high humidity down low (could be 95%)the plants aren't able to release the moisture... transpire any water...especially during lights off...

Well see how they look in a few hours...

I really should be paying attention to the micro climate down low...
I need a few hygrometers..lol

Well they're looking better... Standing up again. .Lowers are greening up nicely ..Tops are standing up but need to green up a little..

Might be able to flip them on the 11th.
Going to see how they look In the AM..

For the most part pool 2 is coming back to life...
Greening up and looking better by the hour.

I think the lesson was...

There is such a thing as Too much Humidity,especially with higher temps...
Air directly on the plants wont = Plants transpiring effectively in such conditions and causes more issues than it fixes.

Humidity levels at one spot does not = humidity levels everywhere.

Turns out even with the lights on and humidity fans off the humidity directly behind the plants having issues is 65...

I let the pool flood a couple of times today and have decided to let all 3 pools dry out for a day... All pools are wicked so stopping the floods for a day or 2 wont kill anything but should help pool 2 and make roots travel a little in pools 1 & 3...

Im thinking... Leave the floods off during the dark 36h period and start flooding once flowering...

Pool 2 is also on floods every 60 minutes and this may have something to do with the issue at hand as well...

Changing it back to every 90 minutes as pool 1 is doing great with that flooding schedule.

Just a lil tip, if you find your temp or humidity isn't consistent throughout the whole room (every grower really should check this multiple times throughout the cycle as part of dialing), you need to either rearrange your circulation fans or add more. If the humidity/temp isn't getting mixed in that area, do you really think co2 is being replenished there either? When air circulation is properly setup it shouldn't matter what part of the canopy you take measurements from, they will all read very close to each other.
