Here's an idea- The tray you start your beans in.....I can kinda see it at the top of the page. Take the seeds out of there and drop that light fixture right down on top of it. I mean so the bulbs are touching the tray or just about touching it. Get some temp readings, and if it's not above 84-85 degrees , that's where I would leave it and put the seeds back where they were. In my experience seedlings stretch like that when they need water or are reaching for the light. Just trying tohelp with my 2 cents.

Frank hit the nail on the proverbial head.....Seedlings stretch like a mofo if underwatered or exposed to inferior wattage....thanks for clearing up what I failed to explain properly F2....now....

The wet/dry/moist conundrum is something experience and doin it with coco go hand in hand.....Consistency of medium varies so much from manufacturer to manufacturer , batch to batch , Hell...pallet to pallet and bale to bale if not using the pre-washed , pre-charged bagged fluffy stuff......that said...

Dialage comes ONLY if yas figure out howta fix fuckups and not repeat em.....I can preach till I`m blue in the face , but if folks don`t let it sink in , then history is doomed to repeat itself......and finally.....

Don`t over analyze and chase the beast cuz you`ll go cookychoobie tryin , so if it helps make checklists and scheduled tasks on dry erase boards or whatever it takes ta BEAT the fundamentals into that head , and I`m addressin ALL here , and not meant toward just you Dabster....anyways...

Get backta work....Old man taught me long ago if yas ain`t fuckin up , yas ain`t doin anything , so learnin from mistakes KEEPS yas from repeatin em....

Peace....Freds....:ying:.......

Word man, thanks for the input.

I moved shit around, and angled the lights so the cups with the babies as well as the newborns in the tray have light about 3'' above their heads. A little hot down there, so i nig rigged a swamp cooler in my flood table. seems to be working. 84* Thats about as close as im comfortable gettin em...The T5's are hot, and i dont want to fry them or dry the rapid rooters out too quickly.

Also, took the clones out of the flood table and ghetto rigged a light stnad with some ballast boxes...lol. Whatever.

Appreciate the help, i'll report back as you know.

Oh, and 30/37 beans have popped through the rooters. Non have helmet head, and none are stretching so far. I've been very careful to check the rooters to moisture and not lettin em dry out too much, but only getting them a little moist if i need to. Will update. I appreciate it guys.

I dont pretend to know all the bells and whistles of this stuff. Similarly, I have had NO ONE to hold my hand, show me the ropes, teach me, etc. In other words I've only grown by myself for myself. But, it has become a huge hobby for me. I'm capable of learning, and I soak this shit in. Error teaches me far more than success ever will, and I know these growing pains are necessary.

It's funny..I was thinking back a couple rounds, the first time i had success with cloning. I tossed my aerocloner in the trash, and decided to go with the basics and did a simple coco clone. 70 clones, humidome, heat mat with a couple towels over it to keep it from getting too hot...and 1 T12 Light. In 3 days i had my first root, 5 days all had a root, and day 7 they were transplantable. I was fucking thrilled. The transplant went great, and I guess I didnt take the note. Dim(T12) light, 72*f, 80-90% humidity, success.

This time i was like fuck it i got some coco and some rocks, i dont see why it wont work, threw them in under the t5 with a heat mat and cooked their asses. Scrub.

The seeds are a different story. Last time i popped them, 12/13 lived, and went on to thrive, but they were always kinda lanky and lame.Turned out to be great genes, it was just my subpar bean popping skills on the first run. Every clone from them way amazing, just not those particular ones.

Anywho, I guess what I'm trying to say is that, I have researched and researched and read and studied and all that shit, and sometimes it takes a little personal interaction with people who've done it the right way to set me in the right direction. Frankenstein, DHF, i appreciate it as always. I'll report back, and lets see if we cant get dabville STRAIGHT ROCKIN!

Shit idk about that man. It seems to confuse the fuck outta me on the moisture profile. I see condensation on the outside of the clear cup...But aparently the cups have been too dry. There is a ton of perlite in there because im a lazy stoner who didnt wanna go to the growstore. Dumbass:laughing:

Great stuff Dabs! Beautiful setup, super healthy plants. I love the walkways. What do you use for a fogger? Must be difficult to keep the humidity what you have it at with exhausting outdoors this time of year.

what's the RH where those clones are??? are they already properly rooted? seems like they should be in a humidity dome... or enclosed area of some kind.

Flower room lookin righteous.

I got 2 5 head ultrasonic foggers. They still really dont do the trick like they should.. I'll probably buy like 2 more, and build lids/fans/exhausts/floatvalves for the set of 4.

The RH is ~60-75% depending on the day. I got another fogger on the way for the veg room.
