Moving along quite nice...
I waited till the pool was flooded-
Vibrated the pool and CC till it freed the roots and leaned the lady back... Nice!!!

The clones taken are looking good...
You can also see the water line in this photo...

The pool is filling with roots and slowing down the draining.
This pool is still on 2 minutes every 90.
Im changing it over to 1 minute every 90 in the next day or so.

I'll change the floods to every hour after flipping a few weeks.
I want the roots to dry a touch and have to keep growing then
once mid flowering and no more root growth...
I'll feed them more and see what happens.

Pool 1 is in really good shape with new growth daily
I have been taking just a few fans~ 5-10 each plant~
for the last couple days (Opening the lady's up and letting that light in...)and pinching tops every couple days...Lots and lots of nodes....


Pool 2 took the move really smooth as well and they all look good~facing the bulb and getting set to blow up...

These will be flipped by the 10th of this month.

The Amcor - Portable air conditioner works perfect and goes for bank on some sites... Nice find!!! Going to need it in a couple months as the outside temp rise and it will be nice to finish flowering with temps under control. All the new toys work great and Im no longer dealing with the white dust from the other humidifier... thank god...lol Really tired of dusting....

I finally got around to getting the ballast hanging and out of the way.
The silver 600 is set for the top bulb of the stacked 600s over pool 1 when needed...

I can go 2 ways here...

Flipping the large tent on the 10th.
Going dark on the 8th and 12/12 on the 10th.

I could do the same with this pool and would only need to top a couple of the largest plants by tomorrow to be ready.

Flowering with a 430 hps and maybe even
adding the 150 Hps or 300 LED...

Or...

Be smart and start topping these with the intention of flowering this pool 30-40 days behind the other 2 pools.

I would like this pool to be totally unseeded for personal smoke.

30-40 days would allow me to seed the other 2 pools and collect pollen before culling the male and flowering this pool.

In the mean time I can flower clones from this pool and sex the plants...

Which has been a pain since im running 24/7 lights for the most part nothing is showing sex before flowering.... D'oh!!!...

Humm... Leaning in the 30-40 day,multiple topped mega canopy show... Could be fun.... Humm....

A clone would need 8-10 to really be ok(Just barley) to flip.... Hummm
Might take both longer to flower as well.. Would be the right height plants though...
Small and releasing pollen into the center fan... lol Love fest....
Clone and Topped... Hummm... Would make the flip on the 15th...

Then again.. I could top him again tonight and keep him in veg till the 12th.
Toss him into pool 2 to flower and when going, move him around every couple days for a couple weeks...

This standard mid size pool is 43" outer dimension with a 1.5" lip.
Has a 38" bottom...

Thanks for that, Each cab just gets more compilated. It will be a round cylinder to reduce air volume, and plants on a lazy susan turntable w/ a coupl side-supporting casters again. 24 stacks of 3- 16oz styrofoam cups (later 2-44oz) w/ the bottom one sunken into the turntable, since it doesnt need lit up. Panda film around all sides, to provide the least insulation, w/ a 400w Mh and maybe an 100cfm blower? One issue tho, can't grow ****! So first crop is gonna be a ?Bibb? lettuce, ~72cups inside 4-10x20 trays flood/drained daily +some 4ft t8 lights for the first few weeks before stacking them.

The drain/res pool won't rotate and turface in stacked cups will not be 'connected'. I want to drip/pulse them often but have to provide the top cups w/ water from a ?ring? of tubing w/o spinning the pump or spilling water. Piping will need to be stationary and the holes lined up w/ cups after rotating plants. The 3stacks wil only need 2(might make it 3ft) of height illuminated, each cup is 8in, bottom one is not lit and top plant needs space. 44oz cups are 12in and would be used for budsicles. Its something like 25-37cubic ft w/ no insulation, and panda film may just? absorb the IR unlike mylar/reflectix. So should be easy to cool I hope. Gonna try supporting the cups w/ 12 PVC uprights spaced behind every other one, w/ some kind of clip/wire, hopfully making the plants easily removable.

Think that will b enough for this cab, wanted to try placing the light offcenter, to provide different angles of light to the leaves a few x a minute. But then this somewhat heavy turntable would need to spin at like 5rpm, although the last one spun w/ little effort so its seems possible w/ 120v, gearmotor? and another roller wheel or sprockets underneath. Then I considered trying to use that little bit of rotation to make air flow from the bottom out the top, no fan at all, just that chimney effect/convection. Maybe a few angled ?fan blades? in the top and bottom turnable, near the edges and the actual in/out of the cab in the center w/ the gap painted black to stop light leaking. Thinking this method, if it moved enough air, could be nearly silent w/ just the sound of that electric motor, water pump, and possibly some rotational shit too?

But want to keep it stoner stupid. Still growing some medicinal plants but this will be the first ?very productive?indoor food gardnen. Need lots of fresh/cheap lettuce often.

I know you just switched to the pool ppk method which obviously I'm not doing (shit i should be), but I need some pointers;

I popped 13 Newhouse seeds, 12 germed, all 12 got to be about 3 inches tall, only the first pair of small leaves. On 6 of the 12 the stem got weak in the middle, and poof, they dipped to the floor. Goners.

I've had these issues in the past too. My light is 12'' Above the tops. (Necessary for the clones i have under there as well, but cmon...12'' w/ a 8 bulb t5 is plenty close?

I've got a fan in there, low speed.. Temps 72-76 Depending on what time of day it is.. Humidity 50%-60%...(read you want 50% ish for clones)...

The newhouse seeds I just popped i put in cups of coco + perlite, after cups of water and then paper towels. 6/13 isnt good enough for me... I need 12/13.

After doing some reading and research, and talking to my buddy at the dro store I picked up some rapid rooters, and skipped the paper towel with this run. However, germing the seeds isnt my problem.. Its after they break the surface, ditch the seed coat, and chill in their first week that I get problems. They grow to be about 2 inches tall in 1-2 days, and then post up for a week and dont do jack shit except get a weak stem and die. What am i doin wrong? Wheres my lush cannabis tree dawg??

More perlite/less water/smaller but somehow taller cups? Either too wet but possible too dry? D9 used a few inches of turface w/ a wick maybe an inch? above the water table and low ec nutes. Those Tupperware containers are 5$ a peice? and need watered by hand. That huge report/paper I posted about turface/nutrient reactions also showed the air/water content at each height above the 'bottom' or water level w/ different sized particles(turface and profile) when watered and wicked. This chart made me decide to start seeds in a mix of the profile(like sand) and turface w/ 7in of medium and a ½in gap, so the water content remains in that Goldilocks zone throughout. Its just two stacked cups, w/ a wick to the small reservoir created by placing the drain/fill hole of the bottom cup an inch up the side. Place em in cheap, but thicker style 10x20tray fitted w/ electrical PVC flood/drain fittings/pump/res/timer and the small reservoirs will remain full+fresh. Clear cups w/ the wicks can slide into the top Styrofoam cup(now sleeve) both from walmart, to allow judging transplant timing while blocking light.

Sounds like a great approach... Hope you can get around the "cant grow issue" sooner than later,bro....

18months left, hoping there will be more choices for a legal grow w/o plant # limits, at that time. Somewhere warm and dry, but not cali. What if u could only make 6bottles of beer per person, w/o limits on bottle size, its ridiculous. Just make stores keep track of sources and make a (half-ass)public attempt to stop untaxed sales. Perhaps if the plants are genetic copies they are counted as one? Then 25 might be enough to allow some seed searching/saving cuts during flower. Its all BS, if I'm keeping or even giving away the flowers, you shouldn't tell me how to rotate/manage my plants.

Enjoying your changes and designs, have ya made any guesses on weight?
