@ GMan 420- Write it of as a learning experience (school of hard knocks). Stick with reliable vendors sites (Boo/Bay).
I had an Attitude confiscation (3 lousy seeds, Pick & Mix) a while back- Customs ICS in Los Angeles. Will never use them again. Read numerous reports that envelopes from the 'tude were being snatched from Customs in Chicago and LA. You're seeing experiences pop up everywhere on ganja forums.
And reading the comments about TSD....very de ja vu`-ish from several years ago....Trichome Kings "seemed" to be legit....I bought from them.....then POOF! Breeders were left hanging, no $ paid to them$, all monies GONE, the proprietor's left w/out a trace....taking the money with them. Web site shut down as tight as a drum.
Support your FAVORITE sites....I sure do. Thanks to Clarence and crew @ bay....working tirelessly to make everyone content. Definitely an A+ in my book!!
So, since this thread is about shady people and shady banks, I would like to share a positive experience with the 'bou I had back in '09, which will also explain why I am, and will be, a loyal customer...
Made a seed purchace back in '09, which included a couple of more expensive packs, along with several cheaper packs. One of the more expensive packs was Gypsy's Luang Prabang Laotian ($90 USD @ the time). Anyways, around 5 days after I recieved confirmation, I recieved my package. In the package was almost everything... except the Laotians. I kind of got worried, this had never happened to me before (and hasn't since at the 'bou). So, I sent 1 email to the customer service desk, telling the staff about what happened. I was polite, and I kept it short and to the point. Next morning, I recieved an extremely apologetic reply, with the assurance that the pack of beans was sent out later that day, along with some extra "goodies", which I believe was the term used.
So, long story short, another few days pass, received the second envelope, and as promiced, my Laotian was there. On top of that, they threw in more than just "goodies".... I think it was like 4 or 5 extra pack of freebies. I know one of the freebies was Powerhouse x C99; I remember that specifically because I grew out four seeds, and got 3 great plants, one I kept for a while. Another pack I got was Sams Mixed seeds, which have great reviews, but I still have the pack on ice... I think the others were some OG & Chem crosses... could be those PPP's they were giving away as freebies, too (all still just chillin').
As expected, I was (and am) one happy camper! Fantastic service, and great customer care. I feel almost abliged to post this in this thread... lots of negativity and and fraud in this business, but Seedboutique and Seedbay are legit. More than legit... they are a good company.
I am sorry to hear of all who lost money, time, and business/reputaion on this snake, and I only hope that people can recover from this, and (especially) don't lose freedom. But, as far as great seedbanks go, theres really only one at the top IMHO... all others come in second or farther back (I order from a couple other banks, but only rarely).
Thank you Seed Boutique & Seedbay (and Seed Direct, when it was) for your services! Being as I don't have access to elites, I wouldnt have even a quarter of what I'm sitting on today if it wasn't for you guys and gals. FREE GYPSY!!

I have never once had an issue with icmag or any of it's venders or admins, and I am not one to hold my tongue either. I have broken TOU with certain threads and all the admins were kind enough to tell me nicely and not ban me. Not once have they ever deleted a post of mine with out a polite message to explain why. Not once have I lost money from a seed order. Not once have I felt unsafe here.
The admins and breeders all take the time to send well wishes to members, and check our threads. They have always made me feel at home here. If I ever have any questions I can just ask and I have always received help. It is the only site that has been as welcoming to me as Overgrow was.
I am sorry you guys have to deal with all this backlash and headaches. I hate to see you guys argue when you all know who the real bad guy was here. The guy who conned everybody. The situation is all to familiar.
Even when warned people can make bad character judgement. I have done it before more than once. The point is to learn from the lessons. Forgive each other and move forward stronger than before.
The good thing that comes out of this is that the con artist has eliminated himself from the market, and people still need seeds. Even better is you know where to get them reliably.
I wouldn't take it as an attack on you or any member of staff personally. I think people who got fucked over are annoyed that others knew the guy was a scammer.
I think it would be good if there was a thread here where people could possibly post concerns about issues like this. perhaps anonymously. thanks for the riu heads up though!
i definitely think for a whole host of reasons that i wont list rare dankness are the best thing to happen in the ganja scene for a long time so big respect to karma bitch and moonshine (& everyone with RD) in all of this..
sadly the only reason i bought seeds from there were RD seeds i couldn't get here,, and in that I guess i have to say imo that certain serious breeders do have all the sway when their drops hit and at the same time small time new to the seed scene breeders have a responsibility to put in work breeding and not hype up every new site that is prepared to sell "their" beans,, usually some cut/s used that they didn't even select themselves let alone breed or a simple cross, no breeding involved, no direction or real intelligible intention in terms of the outcome.. too many great pretenders but i'm thinking their time is nearly up.. damn hype..

all these liars are lying for no damn reason unless the beans are just fake in the first place. Like a big bag of mexi shwag beans. If the beans are from good solid genetics people will buy their product if they just tell the truth about that lack of direction and work put into the strain. I am the perfect example of this. I didnt make the cut I have, but I still get a lot of cred just for poppin the bean. I just make f1's now of that good cut. I get even more for being honest about where it came from and that I did zero work on stabilizing it. People dont give a shit. They know I'm just a hobbyist. I can still sell the beans if i wanted. I almost did. I get PM's asking to buy my beans on the reg. People fully know my cut was just a one time cross made from two great strains bred by real breeders that I have nothing to do with. People still want to buy those beans.

it would be ten times easier as far as payments if you simply had one person set up in the US and one abroad that simply collects the money. once they have it in the few days it takes around the US, they can notify the bay the payment has been recieved and ship it out.
your worker can just make a monthly wire or deposit. no CC needed, and all american customers would be a lot quicker.
could do the same with europe. i know people would say the whole trust thing, but thats the point do it with someone that isnt an asshat.

this is actually a great idea at first glance. In a few hours colorado retail opens. ICMAG could find a credible retail shop or two and vend through them.
