Some breeders would rather have you finish the test grow first then with your clones do whatever the hell you want with them.. Lol.

I would just think say you are only shooting for 20 seeds from your favorite male and female plant and you only pollinate say the lowest buds on the bottom with a q-tip that one would usually lollipop it wouldn't be to big of issue but it's all up to the breeders.

I am gonna have to say that you would most likely want us to run the plants first then do what you want with them after tests are done?

i recommend running teas around the time buds form, so weeks 2-3, then using them at 1/5-1/4 of your nutrient solution for peak bloom , ripening then stop everything but molasses for the 2-3 week flush

Thanks for the tea tips med-man! What do you usually brew in your teas?

BTW... this is the Blue Cheese strain going around my area. I'm trying to run your SS BX1s side by side starting in February. Yours definitely sounds like a faster finisher. I'm looking for the best taste and potency. :)

BLUEBERRY x CHEESE (AKA Blue Cheese)
Blue Cheese has a soft fruity kiss of blueberry anchored in a strong underlying flavor that's slightly funky with a woodsy edge. The combined taste is unmistakably Cheese. Musky and spicy with a sweet cotton candy nose. Patients in search of connoisseur flavors will find the yield to be generous when compared to other varieties in this category. The biggest pleasure of the Blue Cheese is its effects, which comes on smooth on easy, and stays very functional while creating a feeling of great euphoria. This medication opens the mind by relaxing the body.

Genetics: (Blueberry x Cheese)♂ x UK Big Buddha Cheese♀

Your wishes/demands, up front, will be honored by me

I would give all the seeds to BrandX, if he wanted them

Next best thing (to me) is to gift them to IC, so IC can make a few $$$$s.

It's the least I can do for all the knowledge I have gained here

high tony

42-50 days from kicking em

they are pretty much a nl x skunk at the core. so both usually finish quick

i have had some finish at 40 days with chem nutes.

if you want the full flavor and effect they must be cropped before the show any infertile nanners. this is a sign they have gone too far, lost their taste and effect.

how guys take skunks like 70-80 days is beyond me. even kushes. all sleep and cbd in my set ups after 65 days

40 days! idk how thats possible - but that sounds great :canabis:!!!

Well looks like week one of flower ima skip the veg nutes - straight bloom + Ignitor and then weeks 2-4 big bud - then week 5 overdrive and then flush for 2 weeks.

i do remember in 1998

i test ran a ton of hawiian skunks i made. 1 little runt finished in 5 weeks. and was of the highest quality. you need to run a lot of beans to find these randoms. and typically they are not keepers.

but, the silver skunks finish really fast. flowers start in 7 days usually

Reads like beating around the bush to me.

Just say 'no', respectfully
. I can deal with that without hurt feelings

Reading between the lines, I'm guessing that's what you meant to say.

I was thinking that maybe you should have some incentives. Maybe even make a contest out of it. I can see it being difficult to get everyone to complete the grow reports as you like especially since these beans aren't limited editions and only cost $40. No disrespect to how you do things but I thought it could help.

This is entirely voluntary. Why volunteer if you never intend to do a grow log?

The man is giving you free seeds, which in turn will give you free bud to smoke, that should be incentive enough.

Sadly, I see it quite often around here that people volunteer to do test grows for many breeders not just Med-Man, they either never post a grow log.

I personally find good test grows to be highly useful. I just don't have time and space to waste with crap genetics, it's nice to see them test grown to see if they are something I'd want to grow and Im sure others feel the same way.

HidingInTheHaze I hear what you are saying. I really enjoy the info produced by good grow reports. I don't like buying seeds until I have seen positive results. This is why I'm throwing some ideas out there. Because ive seen way too many people take the seeds and run or give a report that still leaves questions. I thing giving incentives is a good way to get the testers to not only do it but to be thorough.
Just my thoughts. I want to see these reports be as thorough as csg's.
