Got my V&B yesterday. Chris sent me a sample of regular RO and Dirty RO. I'm trying the regular RO out on 10 extra plants in a 4x8' tent. The Dirty will be tested out on my veg (Pheno Test plants, and mothers) as well as 2 test SS plants in the main room.

The Dirty was mixed into 5 gallons of RO and came out at 1.3-1.4 EC, 6.0ph. I decided to dilute it down to 1.1-1.2 EC and ph'd to 5.6 before watering. So far so good, no residue in the bucket at all.

I'm chalking this up to the Coco. These have been vegging 2 weeks and I have roots out the bottom of all my pots. Keep in mind these are 3 gallon pots.....

Coco is the bomb. The capillary action of the fibers combined with it's remarkable ability to hold oxygen make coco a superior growing medium.
Coco works especially well in drip systems and Hempy buckets. Also it is relatively foolproof, as you can't over water. Roots love coco. Are you using Rhizotonic?

I'm definitely starting to see that come to life. I don't use Rhizotonic, but I do use H&G Roots Excel. Similar products? Never used the Rhizo before...

Yeah similar products & you'll be fine with the RE . I switched from rhizo myself cuz of the expense of it & the amount they want you to use .

didn't think you'd mind seeing as how its different sized pots of coco & the same strain your running .....

818 in 2 gallons of straight canna coco DTW .... almost done , just leaching for another week or so .

& 818 at 35 days in 3 1/2 gallon Hempy buckets . I like the Hempys because it gives me a 2" perilite rez in the bottom of each bucket that the plants can feed on all day , instead of having to feed multiple times a day or chancing having them dry out by the next feeding .

& the V&B RO formula has been working great so far !!! no shit falling out of suspension & landing in the bottom of my rez !!! its been 3 days now & the PH has risen to 5.9 from 5.7 when mixed .

Those 818 are frosty! How did you like running them, will you keep it around?

My V&B has also been awesome. Very stable PH wise and my veg plants are loving it. The only thing I am concerned about is if it'll pack things on in flower... That's my only reservation, but Chris did say I was free to use any additives and just mind the NPK values.

I love their structure !!!! a little leafy but that can be dealt with easy enough as they grow . but the keeper test comes in a couple weeks when i smoke this shit

My pics don't do this plant any justice that fer sure . cuz yes , they are frosty as hell !!! got a nice lemon stank to them that i hope transfers over into the taste .

I did grab a test branch yesterday As i was cleaning up from harvesting the GG . it was floppey branch that was getting in the way of me getting past the tray over & over again , so as i went by with the scissors one time .... i clipped the fuker off & hung it :)

so i'll smoke that in a few days & should have a better idea if she's staying or not ..

try it once or twice without any boosters .... 90% of my runs were without ..... cuz it really didn't need it !!! it was that good in flower !!! just be warned ... it does contain alot of N .... so ease back on the nutes a little earlier than you usually would .

In flower, I love a product called Bloombastic. Piles on the trichs and the buds swell. An alternative to that is Kool Bloom, which is much cheaper. Bloombastic is expensive, but well worth it IMO. Only takes a little.

I am going to try it with nothing in a 4x8' tent. It's just got one light, and 9 plants under it. Hoping to get an idea from that whether or not I can use it in my main room. I'd love to be paying $300-400 per run on nutes!

As per the V&B schedule online, I was going to raise the EC weeks 1-5, and start the decent weeks 6, 7, and 8.

Thanks Retro. What strength, and in what weeks do you like to use it? You've done this in conjunction with V&B?

Never used V&B. I have used it with both Canna & GH nutes. I use it in flower, starting in week two, until the end. It's very concentrated, and I go by directions on bottle. It's the best bloom booster I have tried. Smells really funky. There is a thread on it somewhere around here. I highly recommend it. Never saw trichs like I have using it. You could try it on a couple of plants and see if there is a difference. Sometimes, hydro stores will give you a small sample bottle for free. That's how I got started on it.

Awesome, I'll try it out on the V&B tester tent and see if I like it, thanks for the suggestion.

You will like everything about it except the price. It's like $200 for a quart or so, but highly concentrated, so you don't use much. You will notice bigger buds and maximum trichs. There is a thread here on it if you do a search. Folks who use it swear by it. Also, i would not grow without Triacontanol. Noticeable increase in growth/yield. Canna Boost (expensive), or make your own Tria from MBferts (cheap). This has been proven in many studies. 30%-40% increase in yields not uncommon. Google it and read a little.

Is Canna Boost fine to use in conjunction with Bloombastic?

Great, I'll test it out this run. Base of: PBP, CAMG, Silica, and Aquashield with additives: BloomBastic, Canna Boost, and YB Final.

What's YB Final? Sounds like another bloom booster, like Bloombastic. You would not need both of them, and if you use them together, you won't know which one is working, unless you are talking about using one on some plants & the other on different plants. Only one bloom booster should be used per plant.
