hopefully the canopy will remain fairly even. I have done a lot of careful selection in my pruning over the course of the veg cycle. trying to avoid larf because I hate trimming. all my larf gets hashed.

^well thanks to advice from you and other icmag members I was able to get them all back on track.

ICMAG really is a wonderful community. It is pretty rare I have a plant health question but when I did everybody was really there for me. I asked several people for their opinions on what turned out to be ph lock out from over feed. They all returned my messages and got me out of a jam. I am lucky to have such a great group of people to ask for help. Every year I appreciate this community more. Some people have been around since overgow and know exactly what I mean. New folks will figure it out with time.

I ran a couple packs of Dr. NL a few years back now - and wasn't too overly impressed with most of the phenos. They had great consistency in the line for the most part - BUT - I did mess up and let a REAL nice plant go. On a stem rub it smelt just like all it's siblings, but it's resin was pure pine straw / pine sap - and had a super dreamy narcotic high. I REALLY wish I would have been able to save that plant - it wouldn't re-veg on me...

All the other phenos were kinda sweet corn / ocean air / and mildly earthy...didn't care too much for the taste or high - was very generic, in my opinion...but they did yield wonderfully.

I gather this is a clone - what's she like??

Just to touch on doc atomic for a sec... I hve to say that one of the finest cannabis specimens ive ever had the experience purchasing and consuming on a regular basis was bbnl from doc. Now I also grew out the bbnl, with mediocre results at best...but i know its out there in that genetic..somewhere...waiting..

well I got the cut from harborside, so it is what ever cut they are passing around is what it is. I'm pretty sure I can grow her to dankness. I have grown all the strains that go into the make up of Atomic NL, and I have grown other cuts of nl too.

The clones are nice and bushy, but because there is haze in it she bushes out with vigor. I have to do a lot of pruning to expose tops because she grows tons of branches with out much stretch. I clear out the bottoms on a regular basis to prevent pm, and the canopy refills out everyday.

To be clear - I wasn't down talking Dr. Atomic. I'd purchase and run through some beans again without any question - I had no complaints from others, and I'd love to try and find that piney pheno again...it's one I really kick myself for not being more aware of - it was a keeper without question. Some GREAT smoke, with excellent terpenes.

TJO - BB x NL has always been on my list of things to grow, except, I just made the purchase and then they switched up the name to Blueberry Jam or something and I just figured the line changed - and well, haven't heard any feedback as to how or why...

I really enjoy things with NL in their genetic makeup though, I have come to learn over the years...

I'm really looking forward to seeing these flower out HZ - you'll have to let me know how the terpene profile is on her!!! :respect:

oh I know you were not putting it down. I am just hoping i can make what ever cut it is as dank as it has potential to be. I hope I have that piney kushy smelling cut i used to grow back in the day too.

I figured a cut that is available to everyone would be a nice change of pace for the web site. A more universal contribution. Usually I only grow stuff that very few people have or make my own crosses. I actually have another tent that is supposedly the NLXBB and it is also from harborside. I'm just not sure on that so I was not featuring that room in this thread :D

How are the temps in the room? Switching to rigid ducting between the hoods will speed up airflow and help reduce temps. Also if the lights are sealed then you should be able to smash the hot air out without forcing it through a scrubber, also speeding up air movement and lowering room temps.

I just got done redoing about half the ducting. getting rid of excess ducting. adding some more fans and filters too. got the temps back down to the mid 70's. it's getting better. Got some more work to do though.
