what's with the 3 finger leaves?
any pre flowers ?
looks like dd one
I dunno bro?
2 weeks ago the first batch came down, new cuts were taken etc..

This was just brought to my attention over the weekend about the problems with this fake! lol

I can 100% tell you that there is no way a plant can change its characteristics to this extreme.. no way its lones.

Frank.. if this is the one you have then i have to tell you bro.. we aint all perfect and make mistakes! lol

Where is HGO? this came from him, maybe he can shine a light on it?

This new strain has been binned.

Like FOG said, there is better out there.. but Lones is unique, has its own category, Plus the ladies love it!

I'm no scientist so cannot band around terms like genetic drift but I've seen plants change over time due to disease, stress; unhealthy mothers producing lanky plants that don't represent a healthy version of the same genetics.

Look at brightside's cheese cut.

Peace

I'd say you're right, genetic drift happens over time at a population level not to an individual plant. The smaller the population the more chance of it occurring, Like you have stated it is more than likely another reason to do with it's health.

Cannabis plants can do strange things. A guy on here Phillthy had a SSCDH that grew as a very sativa dom hazey female during the first run from seed. When he flowered out a clone of the same plant, it grew as a chemdog looking male and never once returned to female.

Shit's crazy.

Peace

That is rather peculiar.

This KQ clone however is still ok in another place with another grower. It is not a seed, it is a clone that is proven to come true to type not expressing environmental stress in the first two grows like Phillthy seen.

im not saying I disbelieve it because I know weird things can happened but with heavy smokers you have to allow a little room for grower error like mislabelling etc. anyone one who has had to deal with loads of clones or strains mislabels at some point.

that being said, I know for a fact some clones have changed. always diminish. maybe some genes can take the years of abuse but others cant.

Killer Queen is one of only 2 plants i've kept since getting hold of them long before they were readily available .

i got my kq from the "original sender" a good few years ago and kept it even after a temporary shutdown :D

it always shows preflower in veg and can be a bit spindly but once she's dialed in has been one of the easiest plants i've grown .

if you've got the real one keep hold of it she's a keeper :) :)
