!Eureka! Just a thought.

Does anyone know what could cause this leaf droop shown in the second pic. Humidity levels haven't changed to much
and there are only 2 leaves in the entire canopy that have done it so far.

Could this possibly be caused from my use of Kool Bloom (powder)? The massive increase of Phosphate and Potash might cause a nutrient toxicity. I just remembered, that at some point in time I believe I read something about leaves doing this from a toxicity.

Any thoughts on this?

i have been popping in to watch your grow for a little while and have some experience using kool bloom powder...firstly it ain't organic and can mess with your plants if they are grown organically, although i can understand why you use it... i wasn't getting the buds i wanted...secondly using it full strength badly affected my plants, burning them and slowing the final bud development. others have mentioned that it will also kill off soil microbes/bacteria. i used it at 1/2 - 2/3 strength and got way better results but have now stopped using it having replaced it with a high phosphorus/calcium organic bird guano...

good luck with your grow and have a happy harvest....

Thanks ozzie. In the future when I have enough equipment to do a side by side, I'll remember that.

I know the title says "First time organic" but sad to say I failed my first attempt. My media is 75% coco50/50perlite x 25% Roots Original. And my nuts. were Roots Organics bottles. I also had some of their Uprising Grow and Elemental.

By week 3 of veg. My plants were struggling badly, so to save my crop I flushed and changed over to 6/9. It's what I normally run.
I'm a straight coco head by nature, handwater, drain to waste. I also do a drip to waste when I feel like getting automated.

I used to have nut. burn issues from Kool Bloom, but that was before I got a tds meter. Now I know the ppms of everything going in and coming out of my system and 1tsp/gal of kb is worth about 500 ppms.

On the subject of organics. I am disappointed I had to so abruptly jump off the organics train. I hate quitters! The success, and reimbursement of this crop is my starting point. And I plan on expanding as fast as possible with each grow. I've decided to put the indoor organics on the back burner until I reach the point where I can build a play room.
Right now its to business to risk major complications. I will however experiment in the outdoor season.

I want to go straight water and compost teas with occasional top dressing of EWC's and guanos. We'll see.

i moved into organics gradually with KB being the last non organic item used before going 100%...i now use amended soil/coco medium applying mainly plain water with the occasional nute top up...

This shows going to start rockin now! I'm completely satisfied with the evolution of this grow. Node spacing is decent and every bud site has a nice size nug, swelling by the day. The amount of resin is insane, everything is sticky and plump. The aroma is deep leathery, limey, kushsy, doughy. IMO Can't wait to show ya'll final pics outside the hps.

I've feed my last dose of Kool Bloom and for the next 2 weeks its just 9ml of Bloom then a nice long 2 week flush.

Looking good.. How tall are they so far? Any chance we can get some close ups?
My pcg cuts is still vegging sitting at around 3ft..... Another week or 2 of veg and then the fun begins for me...

D3cryption, they are all around 3' give or take. I flipped them when they were 20"-24". So I had about a foot of stretch give or take. I train them to have 9 branches each.

You should invest in some t5's... the t12s are lame when you see the growth rates under t5's. THey just dont pump out enough light.

I might be lame but I'm keeping the garden flowing with the tools I have. I'll be up upgrading all my equipment soon. I don't use outside funds to support my garden. I'm planning on the Sun Blaze 48 over a 2x4 tray, its a perfect fit for my veg. space. Going VHO or HO is my only debate. I'm really sold on the VHO but it really depends on if I have the money to cover the operating cost after the cost of my upgrade. Due time my friend. I need a lamp that can take my plants from clone to 24-30", in 35 days.

Made 1lb butter and 1 batch of cookies over the holiday. I followed the recipe on the bag of mix, apparently Betty Crockers idea of large cookies and reality are total in left and right field of one another. It said I could make 24 large cookies by using rounded tablespoons. So that's what I did, except the cookies turned out little as fuck. Beautiful and perfect in flavor, but to little. Takes 4 to catch a buzz. Now I know if I use that mix again, with this butter to take the batch down to 12.

I used to not like edibles, but the last two times I made my own butter, my opinion about them has changed.

The first time ever made butter, I made a 1lb, I used 20g of DSD trim and 16g buds I had laying around that I ground up. It came out so fire I was hooked. So now I'm trying to dial in my own recipe, only using less bud. Lol.

Beginning of Week 8

Beginning of Week 8

Finally here with time to write. I've reached week 8 and the anticipation is setting in. This is my last week of feeding before the flush. I hope they start putting on the weight.

I am so frustrated with my quality of pictures I'm almost embarrassed to post them. But here's some of my most recent pictures..
