but of course. What's their original mission statement? Control the world?...spy for the government?...enslave you further? The skynet is falling the skynet is falling....fuck...get used to it. Turn off your computer bro...you know they are watching it...but here we be

spreading love

HUH? When did I say I wasn't used to it? What does your post even mean? How would turning off my computer help? Do you think they can only access spy devices in your house by computer? I don't understand your post at all.

http://www.glennbeck.com/2012/11/20/glenn-sits-down-with-renowned-futurist-ray-kurzweil/

If you watch all these video's Kurzweil states that Google is really about building a machine capable of not only knowing all the information on Earth, but to predict future events. The original mission statement was to build a machine that can not only log all this information, but create a super computer or artificial mind capable of it's own cognitive ability. His book is called "How to create a mind." The Google search engine is just a tool used to gain all the information possible, not the main function.

(bold italics above are by WD)

If that blows your mind look into the "singularity" that is quickly approaching if not already here.

The Google rabbit hole goes very deep, if you choose to go down that road you will learn the truth behind the curtain.

HOw to create a mind

I'm familiar with the approaching Singularity, I'm familiar with Kurzweil, too.

Your statement, "The original mission statement was to build a machine that can not only log all this information, but create a super computer or artificial mind capable of it's own cognitive ability," seems to be Kurzweil's opinion of what Google's plan was, not what Google stated their plan was. So, I think you are wrong on what you accused me of being wrong on. Kurzweil's feelings about what Google is, is different than what Google's mission statement actually is.

Please don't expect anybody with half a mind to watch more than a short clip of what Glenn Beck has to say. I did visit the page and read the little report about the interview.

Kurzweil's views, while rather disturbing to me, are quite likely true, given what I see happening nowadays and if I extrapolate into the future. I don't like it, I personally feel that humanity is being led by the nose into a future it hasn't fully considered and could very well end up being a nasty dystopia full of bad shit. But that has nothing to do with Google's original mission statemtent.

What you just did is famously called, "Bait And Switch." Boo hiss on that.

Ya, I think google collects WAY too much info on us. I would like to find a new email/browser

As far as the commenting thing on youtube...well I think it may be in the interest of clearing up that retarded rubbage that incessantly goes on...it makes reading the comments useless and a real eye/mind sore

PErhaps this is googles post-accountability solution?

Yes force people using google+ which sucks big time, get all your comment on google+ without asking any permission, add friends to your list of friends circle ?? WDF!!!! Not to mention the terrible layout and not so friendly way of navigate there.

This is going viral all over the internet, if u google "google+ sucks" you will see tones of articles, as matter of fact even some google engineer starting to rant on google+ lmaooo, could it be worst than that??

Microsoft did the same with Hotmail. It's all part of making sure they keep all your activities in their file on you. They already know where you live and what your house looks like from the road and the air. They know everything you've ever searched for on google. With google+ they get to read all your emails too. They know your IP# and router configuration.

They know all the apps you've downloaded to your android device, and everything you do on it. They know all your other accounts and passwords that you enter into your android device. If your android device is a phone, they have a copy of your address book and all the calls you made (metadata at least). They have copies of all your text msgs. They have tracked your physical movements everywhere as most ppl carry their phones with them at all times.

So they know where you live, what you do, all your interests, your social network, where you've been, who you call, what you say and write and text.

They then compile all this data and run it thru algorithms to see it raises any red flags.

Then they can sell your data to commercial firms who want to sell you crap.

Then they can sell your data to the government, just like the Telcos do (they charge as much as $750 a month to tap one phone line).

The NSA, DEA, CIA etc all want to know all about you!

Then they can predict your behavior based on other AI algorithms.

While there may be many uses for this data, the inability to opt out of the data recording, the ongoing secrecy and the all prevailing nature of the spying on us is unethical and immoral.

As far as I can see, any private, personal communications should remain that way. In fact, there is a clause in our Constitution that guarantees that. But it was overridden by the Patriot act and subsequent secret legislation and executive orders...
