I smoke w/ bubbler or vape. Always used CLUB...thin, didn't feel like you were smoking a tree like the roach clip Randy's, the flavored ones. ZigZag white is another very doable.

Ha, I've got some those.

I remember when "HM prison only" rizlas were a sought after item, now you can buy fake ones. I remember when my cousin smuggled his blue and white stripey shirt out of the clink, he sold it for £100. I can remember when prison shirts were the top trendy item to be seen wearing in the clubs. Can't see it happening with those manky burgundy sweaters.....

Anybody who would wear a prison shirt voluntarily is a douche and obviously has never had to wear one.

And no offense to your cousin, but anybody who would smuggle a prison uni out of prison and risk catching new charges and violating their parole, just to have a souvenir or something to sell is an idiot. Sorry.

And zigzags taste like smoking note paper. Try some Elements or even Raws and youll never go back to zigzags. I dont care how sentimental they are for you.

I smoke joints for portability, mostly vape. A joint for me is something I can sneak behind a building and get rid of in a hurry.

I tried Raw and found them way too long to roll. I'm not looking to learn new rolling skills for something I do a few times a week. For my needs, the Zig-Zag 1.5 Ultra Thins are about ideal. Pretty much a very refined version of the EZ-Wider 1.5s I used years ago. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that joints aren't the way to go for a connoisseur experience anyway.

Each to his own.

Personally I always thought joints were more of a connoisseur experience. I'm really bad about keeping my glass clean though so that is probably why ;)

I pretty much smoke joints 90% of the time. I love the process and little bit of ceremony involved almost as much as smoking them. For a while was using strictly RAW and RAW Organics and Elements when my shop was out. This thread just led to a little internet shopping spree though... Picked up some Smoking Master rolls, some Club Modianos, Zig Zag Ultra Thins, and half a box of Rizla Silvers. Silvers were my go-to paper before RAWs came around and I sort of forgot about them.

Curious to start rolling with un-gummed (Club) papers. Never worked out well for me before and hate having a joint come unraveled 2/3 way through smoking it. Any tips on rolling well with un-gummed papers?

For awhile now I've been using the Zig-Zag Kutcorners the 1 size. No I don't glue 2 together because I know how to roll free handed without one of then fancy rolling machines.

Here's a tip for rolling with Clubs, as taught to me by my best friend (RIP) back in the early 70's:
Before rolling, use your front teeth to VERY lightly bite the edge of the paper, from one side to the other.. This creates very tiny, invisible tears in the fibers in the edge of the paper.. after rolling up and licking the bitten edge of the paper, it will stick together better than a glued paper...This will work with ANY ungummed paper.

MrAwder,,, after biting the edge of the pape, (about 5 or 6 bites to get from one side to the other) you'll see that the edge looks kinda chewed on...(takes about 3 seconds to do this)..just keep your lips and tongue off it so the pape doesn't get wet until you have the weed rolled up and lick it...
Practice a little and you'll soon be rolling "Club Blunts" that will make your buddies ask, "How does he do that?"

I used to feel like that.
That clean glass was the only good way to truly taste the herb. But then i started growing my own delicious organic bud. Now, when i roll up a joint it tastes absolutyely amazing. And because i smoke a lot, its hard to keep glass clean, so i find myself smoking a lot of joints.

I will agree that with most commercial bud, you can only really taste it in a clean glass piece. And even then, only just the first few hits. But i find with well grown organic buds, they taste absolutely delicious in a good paper, all the way to the roach.

that my 2 cents anyways.:tiphat:

The funniest thing about the whole "Only tastes good in glass" thing is when people take it to extremes.. It can't be a cheap glass bong with a grommet downstem, no it has to be glass on glass, because that half a gram of rubber which never enters the smoke path makes sooooooo much difference.
