Sea Green

If you study Aztobacter, they are not quite efficient in the way of nitrogen fixation. Actually they suck at it. You need to add 1000 pounds of sugar to get one pound of nitrogen. This is not a sustainable equation. They are quite efficient however at producing rooting hormones and freeing phosphates.

bullshit, i used it in waterfarms and there was still plenty of salt buildup

plus it leaves a black biofilm

yea sea green is messy as hell...i never run it through my drip lines or even in my flood trays...

when i want to apply seagreen i mix up a custom batch once a week in a smaller reservoir with plenty of airstones, then water with a pump and wand.....

I jumped on the bandwagon and had my shop order me some. I got a really good price on it, got it for $35 out the door. I'm going to start using here shortly go hopefully it works as good as people are saying.

Anyone tried the sea green hydro yet?

Is there any point in using it in chlorine water, or will the chlorine kill off all the goodies?

so basically all this is, is a liquid microbial product? I see the NPK, but used at 1 ml, that's harmless..

not sure how it's revolutionary, considering voodoo / tarantula / piranha have been out long ages ago.. and I would assume... assume, the guys working in the Bulgaria lab get bored, and know what strains actually are more beneficial considering they actually test with pot plants.. ?

maybe it's a good product. wouldn't know honestly as I'm not buying shit where they don't tell me what's in it.. advanced actually does tell you want strains are in the bottle. I actually know this as I explored to get free samples from them..which they gladly did ( including voodoo juice )

just got some sea green, kinda sucks tho cuzz my babies are in there 7nth week of flowering, been hitting them with canna pk 13 14 since week 6 and they look marvelous already. gonna add sea green, herculean harvest, and tritans trawl to see what happens. gonna be hard to tell if it made a difference since the canna coco a n b plus pk has done an excellent job.

Is seagreen beneficial when ran with the chemical salts in hydro nutes?

Yes Sea Green digests and breaks down chemical nutrients to a more bio available form thats easier for the plants to take in, it does this with organic nutrients also. It also makes your plants more hungry so they will consume higher levels of nutrient without burn, its a good idea to feed more magnesium or at least keep a eye out for mag deficiency, it seems to be the first to go when using sea green, and keep a eye on your ppms, watch how quickly they will drop, sea green seems to give your plants munchies lol.

sea green is the shit. i been mixing it with rootamentary and my plants are exploding. when they start to flower mix 0.5ml sea green,0.25ml of rootamentry and 2ml of tru blooms and watch the magic happen. it helps speed up the bud process.

spot on response.it also makes ur plants eat more and no burn so more nutes the more bigger buds imo. i love the shit and im buying 16 of each one this fall. i add bud factor x and budy candy to my plants so i havent noticided the mag def yet.

Sea Green is one of my favorite products, I just wanted to make sure nobody out there was buying the b.s. that Beneficial Biologics is selling. Beneficial used to sell Sea Green and lost it because they were shady. Now they are trying to tell people they've reformulated and improved it but its a total lie. I found this image on the internet and thought everyone should know that their new product is just an overpriced and diluted Bacillus subtilus product called Companion. Check out this image http://imgur.com/a/60JIG. Keep it real!

Ha! I went to a hydro shop grand opening and the beneficial biological Rep fed me some story about how Sea green bottles were exploding so they stopped making Sea green and now it's all reformulated! Wtf? Lol

Jack may offer told me years ago to use this stuff. Never did. But after reading this thread... Doh.
I'm down. Great thread. Thanks guys.

voodoo...
No way 1ml of anything will allow you too feed super high ppms....
A healthy vigorous plant in a dialed in enviroment will allow you to feed higher ppms's , not some liquid in a bottle .

In what way did your plants look better over night , compared to the day before ? How are the plants better now , then 10 weeks ago , when you did not use this product ?

The side by side pix of the 1 week old seedlings on there site , proves what ????? Does it show that sea green works , or that the one seed had more vigor then the other ?

Thanks for your opinions :tiphat:

I love how some folks claim miraculous overnight responses with no side by side comparisons. One guy claimed they must have grown exponentially overnight. It makes me smile really.

Old adage, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Sales reps are all so shady. Even if their product is good.
You'd think if this was the case, they should do a recall.
Share this information on their website and on the websites of all retailers selling their product. Last thing anyone needs is a thick glass bottle exploding on them.

Sea Green is in a plastic bottle.

?

I've used this for years. Not thrilled to hear about a reformulation... it is a fantastic product. I love Rootamentary, too.
