hi guys, here is a very easy method to getting awesome, easy yields, inexpensively.

2 x 5x10 beds (could have easily been 5x12 beds for more yield)
100 plants (1p/sqft)
6 bails of sunshine or pro-mix
6-12 bags of gold label coco
100 ft 1/2 mainline
100 2gal per hour drippers
1 - 2 fan swamp chiller
1 matador co2 controller
1 8 burner blue ox co2 generator
1 65 pint dehu

- just build a 5 x 10 ft x 12 inch bed x 2
- attach a frame so to add 3 lights per bed and handle the weight of an a/c
-line the beds with double 6 mil vapor barrier
- run a 1/2 mainline from a 1200gph pump to the closest width of the bed(make sure to split it into 2 - 1 for each bed)
- put a T for every row of plants, in this case, 10 in total, 5 per side
- attach more feedlines to the T's, run them the length of the beds and firmly attach at the opposing ends
- fill beds with 40% coco, 40% promix and 10% hydroton. make sure its is mixed up thoroughly
- build small rows with the medium so that drippers are elevated a bit. just like in outdoor row gardenss or farms

-make sure to put 1 - 2gph dripper every linar foot (starting at 6 inches away from the bed frame. this applies to the feed lines too)
- plant 1 plant per dripper in your rows - 50 sq/ft = 50 plants per bed, all evenly spaced 1p/sq/ft

- make sure everything gets plants
- give the beds 50%-100% of a full res mixed at 1.2 ec
- veg for 2 weeks, 2 weeks tops
make sure to send water through the feed lines every3rd feeding
- make sure to only feed when beds dry out- overwatering/feeding is this methods nemesis
- flip once your plants are 12-18 inches tall, tops

Love the beds. I have the same computer speakers in the 4th picture. Coincidence? Probably. :)

Love the beds dude..

Where does your run off go?

hey skunk passion.

good question. you typically want to feed 1-2 liters per small plants, and 2-4 litres for big ones with big roots. you have to flush with water every 3rd feed to make sure salt does not build up.

and you also need to make sure there is no liquid building up in the bed long term that the plants dont suck up. its a matter of knowing your strain and room. the biiger the plants, the ore they can handle

thanks y'all

really nice to get a positive vibe going in here again :)

i just want to say. if you are a commercial grower, this is the way to do it. if you follow the med-man method with these beds. from front to back. you will kill it. 1 man can tend easily to a 24 light grow as the room only needs to be inspected at least every 3-4 days subject to plant size. this is my favorite production method next to my tables as far as soil grows are concerned.

clean up is also a breeze, and i know guys that have reused there soil mix over 12 times in a row, with now draw backs. plants are chopped, beds are broken up, roots are removed, medium lost is replaced, replant the same day.

rmember, messages, screens, good medium flushes and shock ripening are key to retarded yields and quality, even you you cant rock c02. and, if space is minimal, or plant number sare not a problem, soil could have filled this walkway as well, increasing yield by another 20% or so. i have seen full basement, filled with soil, 12 inches high. lights are put on rollers with ropes by the entrance. once flipped with screens, no more need to get in there. its just like my tables, all area is utilized to the fullest, and buds are supported once massive and ready to chop.

you can do this method sea of green as well. as many plants you want to put. either less plants or more plants, just add drippers and lines to accommodate. just make sure to have a good barrel filter to prevent line clogs , esp with organic nutes and additives.

here is a bed of purple pain killers

no walk way, just 1 massive beds. 1 plant per sq/ft.10 x 12 ft room/ 144 plants. 12.5 pounds from 8/600 digis. the finished product was impeccable. 50% organic. yield was improved after once notes were taken and problems eliminated

a couple factors could have got 10 plus pounds

- perfect watering
- trellis screen for scrogging (patient didnt listen)
- higher yielding / more resiliant strain
- small attention to details
- adding more sq/ft of beds either longer/wider with same wattage

So kool! I just received your OG X TD as a freebie.....germing now!

So no need for runoff as long as you flush every third water?

Could you tell us some more details about your room?

Thanks
