It looks like a penis. Circumcised

Got anyone in mind ? . It does surprise me that fungi very similar are so far apart in different countries yet the climates are the total opposite .

Well, since it's bright white with a black tip, i would say it doesnt resemble any human penis ive ever seen. Maybe Klingon?

I`m far too polite to say what it looks like but the latin name used to identify all those TYPE of fungi worldwide is PHALLACAE . I have a funny feeling the clues in the name .

In the UK the stem only is edible but I`m not sure what one you have there , the only difference is your bell-end is brown where the UK one is nearer black .

PHALLACAE,,,aw come on are you making that up.....
But no race fans he's not,,,,, Dam if thats not the name of these things,,had to do a google search..

Awrighty I'm all packed out for a supply run,,rains wind and other weather issues have got us down to rations and im just about outa smokes.
The weather looks good for the next few days to a week so we're heading for the big Island, we need a good amount of stuff so the plan is to load up the MaryJane and another boat and bring it all back here in one trip.
One of the biggest reasons ive been off line so much lately is the need for fuel rationing, no sun ,no solar,,no diesel and things get boring as piss.

I have some new rod holders that got dropped off a few days ago.
I went over to one of the mining islands awhile back with a drawing of what i wanted and one of the welder there made um up for me out of steel angle iron and stainless pipe, and I robbed 8, ten inch bolts with nuts and washers from another project i got going on(goat barn) to strap um on the MaryJane,,they look good now we'll see how well they function, had um made up to angle down at 60 degrees for that deep trolling action im looking for, and one day my new gear will show up,,one day...

And theres something new waiting for me when we get there, a new wireless modem from Echostar who bought Hughsnet last year or the year before ,, and it supposed to be the "shit snizzy" in wireless Sat/comms, It looks like a small cell phone with no buttons, just off and on and an LED display and has a battery, when it comes to price its about the same monthly as what i use now, but with this new "unit" im supposed to be able to go online anywhere in the world with a south western line on sight,, we shall see..
Ok lads we sail on the tide in a few hours,, i gotta go give the MaryJane more more going over,,, suck down a massive amount of bonghits at hit the "high" seas...................

'High' seas, very nice.
:bongsmi:

No wonder you've been off line so much, no sun, no fuel = no electricity. But hopefully youve caught up on your sleep and your weed smoking.

Now off to get some more supplies and your snazzy new sat-wifi. You going to sell or trade your old sat modem to a passing ship?

Seriously, how cool would that be if you could get some nice indian or afghani hash off one of those ships?

Maybe on the way youll catch a 30 kilo king with your new rod holders, optimized for deep sea trolling...

Awrighty,,,got back in here last night and arrived dry,,bonus land..

Ok so heres some shit for ya,some real shit,,I got an email a few days ago,,,,as most of you know Me and my wife (the girl born here on the island) has been a "thorn" in UNESCO's side for years,,and for reasons all their own,,,they still cant give us any reasonable reason to NOT stay, so we;re still thumbing our noses at um, at least my wife is,,I'm giving off the world recognized "one finger salute",so anyway we all know "they" aint been real cool towards us, and I mentioned awhile back we were due a visit from "them" but now,NOWWWWWW,,aw shit now "they" are asking ME,,,,me of all people,,, the guy whose been threatened with international legal actions up to and including jail time and major fines for the past 5-6 years,,,me,,,,,"They" be AXIN me, to pick up and transport a work crew AND building materials to build a 5 meter X 5 meter hut, with a metal roof and a lockable door,,, a lockable door ???? WTF. Only thing around here that needs a lock on it is my weapons box,(things in there are for adults ) ,, our doors remains open dam near 24/7 unless its big time sideways rain, nobody heres gonna steal shit and if they do ,,,where they gonna go with it ????
OH and a shitter INSIDE the place,,which is telling me this time there will be a woman on the team or at least thats my guess..

So again I say WTF,,,people gotta a lotta stones asking me for favors, and I gotta another question,, why the semi permanent style building??? ,,,they"ll be here until March after that it"ll be another 4 years until they "observe and evaluate" here again,,and by the way 90% or more of the people could careless most wont even speak or interact with them the entire time they're here, and one of their "directives" is to "OBSERVE ONLY" so WTF ?????

Why a need for a septic tank ?? and why so much concrete and why a metal roof ??? sounds like more than just a 6 month need.

How'd you like it if someone,,complete strangers and a different race came over to yer place,,,built a house in your back yard and "observed" you for the next 6 months ???
Like said before ,,most here have seen enough of outside their home to not have a lot of interest, anyone who is or was has left long ago,,NeNe"s about the only one since I've been here who has wanted to leave, but her reasons are many and understandable.

If you lined up 100 people here and asked "who wants to go to Malaysia,, Borneo any of the Indo Islands" all will ask you "WHY",,,thats it,,,,"why"....
I still say their presence is someones way of keeping a finger in the mineral deposits of the Archipelago....
But hey,,,wutdoiknow.....

Wuts up man,,,yea when the weather gos ta shit we get all conservative of what gets used and most of the online time goes to the boys AB3"s-12C's he really gets into some old skool sesame street.
The new SAST/WIfI is pretty cool I'm on it now, and I gotta say im kinda impressed,,looks like a fone with no screen or keypad and has a battery and is butt ugly blue and white, all I need is an unobstructed south east view and a some what clear sky, and couldnt have come along at a better time,,in a few weeks i have to take my "tower" down before the visitors arrive, they see that im sure they"ll freak.
And I didnt have chance one to try the new rod holders,, weather was hit and miss the whole trip and I wasent down with dicking round, got my shit and made wake, but this trip was planned and plotted,, knowing we were gonna hit shit weather I plotted us towards the Island we ran to in a storm a few months back,,BUT,,,it meant crossing "Semi" open sea for 6 hours (which ended up being a little over 7 because of load and currents)
I knew the distance and it wasn't a bad guess on the timing,, and timing IS everything,,, we made it to the island in sweet clear skys and table top flat seas is was a great crossing,,,we got there and within 15-20 mins the sky got dark,,gloomy and black,,, 10 mins later its pissing down rain,,( I crowed about the timing for hours by the way) we stayed there for 2 days and slowly hugged the island coasts,, making a few stops to see friends along the way.
And ya know what man ??? im a bit pissed ,,,none of the fishing gear I ordered has arrived yet I was really stroking the monkey it would be there when we arrived....

Sounds like you're getting to be a real pro at avoiding storms, you're a natural. Youve learned a lot about sailing and boats, it's like a lifetime of learning crammed into a few short years.
Sucks that your new gear hasnt arrived yet, is there any way to track it to find out if it's close?

So im guessing youre NOT going to be helping unesco build a 'semi' permanent installation on your island? What if this 'locked door' is really a jail cell, for the hmmmm one guy who doesnt look like the others? That would be a kick in the rear, if you ended up helping build your own cage...

Although, the fact that theyre asking you, does that mean theyre now willing to tolerate your presence on the island? You do this solid for them, maybe they wont give you any more shite? Maybe they just wanted to be more comfortable during their stay, but youre right, if their mission is to be as unobtrusive as possible they would live native-style, not build a freaking concrete and metal building... Bunch of hypocrites.

UNESCO ? I wonder how they`d get on if weird things kept happening , spiders in the hut , snakes crawling around , there are all sorts of weird stuff happens when your a stranger in someone else`s back yard .

What gives them the right to build on the island & watch the natives ? Is there some kinda agreement with somebody or are they just being Rsoles ?

Yea sounds like you guys are with me on this one for sure.
Not real sure just yet how were gonna swing this, one thought was to go to the big island and stay at a friends for thye next 8 months or so, but both of us bagged that idea,,, every time we leave here all we wanna do is get back.

So,,, we've come up with our first set of "guide lines" that being where said structure can be built.
When we first started our house we followed exactly what Sabuyas grandfather told us,,first being the distance between our house and the village,,,were exactly 3 klicks from the ville as per grandpas instructions,,,,

Ah shit im being called for I'll have to finish up later

of course it is only right that we as the civilised people of the world 'observe' these savage natives like the animals they are! :petting: after all our civilisation has brought us much! happiness, enough food to go round everyone, a roof over everyone's head, a non existent crime rate.... oh wait...

this is the kinda shit that makes me mad! governments thinking they know better than everyone else but not willing to educate people because that would mean loosing their power and control over the masses....
urgh... rant over.

i dont know what sort of bargaining chip you have when asking for these people to be a little more culturally sensitive, but you'd at least think they would at try not to leave a permanent structure.
and what kinda name is UNESCO!?! sounds like a weapons manufacturer or oil company...

you know what they are there to 'observe'? i think you could be right when you say they are just trying to lay claim to something, maybe they have to have people there for a certain amount of time every few years to keep their claim to the land? a little like Antarctica for the oil, coal and other various rare mineral deposits.
maybe why they are so opposed to an american living on the island?

of course this is all speculation on my behalf and could just be me, but in my short time on this earth i have learnt that governments and corporations act for their own interests and those alone... a sad but yet proven wrong fact...

buy hey you gota enjoy life while you got it, hows the fishing boat treating you? im about to make a temporary move to Swedish Lapland and plan on building my own boat to take out on the lakes over the summer (if they ever get one! :wallbash:
