I have me a Germinating space the needs an upgrade...
Going to do something new here tomorrow....

Well... The Germination space upgrade
took a few hours to pull together....
Yet...
Im happy with the way it turned out....

Im going to skip the wicks and just
bottom feed the little ones...
I went ahead and pulled the wick from the F13 cups...

Tho I did cut holes for wick in the lid
of the top tote in-case
I want to go camping for a few days...
Would be easy to jam some wick up into the cups...




This is a basic PVC frame on wheels...
You can see the hoods being used off to the right...

That's a extra hood in case I need it or I'll
use it in the veg closet once I set that up....


The 1/2" pvc bar on the top the holds
the light hood can easily be extended if needed...
I set this up to be really
flexible in a few different ways.



Bread dude at 7-11 donated
some bread racks for the cause...
Tho he don't know
that he made the donation... Shhhh....


I used a bunch of zip ties to secure
the racks to the frame...


There is a separate bar for the lower light...


This is my seed popping space...
The rack is maybe 1" off the floor...
Using a heating pad as well...


Think Ill go ahead and get the babies into cups...

I tossed around 15 of the green GSC seeds
into pods just to see if I can get a few going...

Really doubt they grow but im also going to try some Grape Krush white seeds I tried to make season 1 using the GMS pop...
Not holding my breath but no need to save them so why not try...

Just about ready to start making some seed packs and figure out what goes to the bay and what I could use help testing...

Well I gots me more turface than I should ever need...

Think 400 pounds should cover it...

Final pieces are in place... Found some Neem and Protek Silica...




Picked up screening to process the TF...
Going to use these frames and go a smaller version of D9s rig...
Going full screened and washed...




Not expecting much to happen but I tossed
a bunch of these in water...

Going to give them 48 hour soak..
If nothing comes up Im going to hit the last
of them with ga3 and try one more time...

Some of the white-green GSC seeds have broken ground...
Both Fem and GSTF... Nice!!!!





I see 1 seed that might be good... :ying:

i couldnt find turface here but my floor dry is working good so far and its made from silica so theres an added benefit. ive got so many beans i need to pop but so little room lol.

Id say that Floor dry is golden...
Whats that cost for 50 lbs ?



I picked this up at a landscaping place and dude was like
"We don't usually get such a large order of this... This time of year..."

I told him... Guess it's your lucky day...
Kind of cheese...
Didn't know what else to say... lol

I know what you mean about the beans...
Looking through my stock i found my diesel cross...
That was a big as mom it came from....
Bigger than the SSH I used for BH....

I have a 15 nice looking beans I need to get to someday...lol

Already have my hand full this coming year tho...

I took out the cross bars and stapled the door screen in the inside of the frames...

I raised the cross bar on the end of each frame...


I removed staples from a few inches of the chicken wire on one frame...

I then bent this CW to form a slope and placed one frame onto the other and screwed the 2 frames together...




Taking the screws out of the end of the frame and bending the CW down give me a lip to sit on the edge of my collection tote....




Having this Sluices at a slight slope I will use my hands to slowly run my CC the length and then wash the CC in a kiddie pool...

If my damn neighbors were not to flipping nosy I would do this outside with the Sluices feeding into a Kiddie pool that sits on a hard surface with the 8 wick holes covered using door screening...

A hose at full power laying on the bottom edge of the pool and CC dropping to this area....

After each 50 lb bag I would hose it hard and then let the pool drain and collect the CC...

IDK... I may just say screw them and do it this way.... :dance013:

I think this is the right way to screen CC...

The screening sure seems small... lol

Any thoughts are welcomed as always...

Bamboo just makes life easier...

I found a spot out back that I can do this without to many eyes able to see whats up :moon: and I figure they will think im gold mining my own backyard..

Would rather them think im a nut than a grower... :wtf::smoke out:

I hate those staple guns ya got there. Lol the first time I used one I held it backwards and while supporting the bottom with my opposite hand sunk a 1/2" staple in the palm of my hand. Yikes! I smashed that thing in a million pieces and when and got the chrome heavy-duty one.

I almost did that once... Almost.... :jawdrop:
I double check every time since.... :ying:

This thing rocks IMO.. Saves my wrist a lot of stress...
10 extra staples in everything just cause.... lol

Looks good man! Yal need to watch that gold rush show on discovery, and build an auto sifter like they do!

Wish I could get my hands on some of that GSCTF ! sounds like a banger

I do all the time... That show is the bomb...

Been trying to thing of something I have that vibrates...

I'll have to check the girlfriends dresser drawer... :biggrin:

I was wondering if I could hook up the hose to a piece of PVC pipe across the top with holes every inch....

Use the water to push the CC and screen and clean all in one...

Would the smalls still fall through if wet ?

Perhaps a cross pipe every foot or two even...
