I don't know that I have any plans to immediately utilize any of said offspring in a Stank Bros cross - unless it proves itself to be stable / consistent ...

I would say its the VA cut because of the dominant 5 leaf structure. Its def in the Chem line.

cant tell from vegging plants.. anyone who says diff is a tard.. it could be an S1 or a cross that's more dom in the skunk va side of things.. I know I have a cross that looks nothing like that.. but in flower looks identical to the VA Cut.
The people he got it from said it was the Va Skunk cut.
If it was an S1 or a cross it would have been labeled such.
People who have great genetics with a picture of perfect health, usually arent sloppy growers.
Did you notice the health of OP's plant?

The VA pollen was the only pollen present during that run. No flowering males in that particular grow. TR has popped a bunch of those, and found legit males, as well as HM. Sup fellas.
As for why not many of the s1's resemble the cut. Fuck if I know. What I do know is that many of VA's traits can be very recessive in alot of the outcrosses. Not to get all scientifical and shit, but thems the facts.

I agree, I truly believe OG was a very lucky find from a 91 Chem that hermed.
Cob any idea if anyone who grew out your s1s ever found an OG type plant? What about Skunk VA s2 has this been done?
Surely if OG was 91 Chem x (Lemon Thai x Old World Paki Kush), then there would be far more lemon thai and paki phenos floating about from all the selfing and crossing done with OGs.

There weren't any of those that I saw that resembled OG. I had the same thought at the time that maybe some og like plants would show up, but it just didn't happen. As far as I'm concerned it's a dead end, and all roads lead to Fl.

As far as I can understand he reckons TK was a plant called Emerald Trangle brought from CA to FL crossed with an unknown dutch seedbank male.

Well, he doesn't say he discovered TK - what he said was he discovered and named a plant Triangle - it has been presumed for years that TK and Triangle were different plants. He says they both look the same - and he wouldn't be surprised if someone ran his triangle and just threw a kush label on it - which is indirectly saying they are one in the same...
A CO cat seems to think this is the legit and straight forward truth...so hey, who knows. I think it would be awesome if the truth of it all WAS that simple - all these many years of speculation that have taken place...and boom...walks in a dude with 5 posts and clears up the whole mystery, etc, etc...
It'd honestly be some what classic and perfect for it to be something so simple...CA plant, random dutch male - boom - great weed...wouldn't be the first time...
I try not to rule anything out as possible - it's a small world - for as big as it can often seem....
