Looking great man, that boy sure was handsome. Look really good, not too leafy and stacking frost niiiiiiiice. :)

Well the boy has been jammin' like a rock star, putting out a few flowers most days, despite some frosty nights and not-so-warm days. Most of the big branches went soft after the first frost, last Wednesday, but the smallest branch remained rigid and alive.

That stem got mighty purple! Guess that's what a couple of humid 30 degree nights'll do! Here's his clone, been keeping him small in a little pot and he's been really cool. Got some B.O. stank to him.

These random shots are from yesterday, day 41 of flower. They are packing on some girth and frost! They are in a good soil mix already but I couldn't resist giving them a compost tea dosed with Indonesian bat guano. (I ordered the shit on eBay and just got it in when someone told me there was still one hydro shop in town! I did a drive-by and there it is! I didn't go in yet because I spent my spare money on seeds already...) I think they're likin' it!

One thing I wasn't likin' was an aphid invasion last weekend. I saw these weird sticky spots around but it took me a few days to figure it out. I had already ordered some ladybugs from Mariposa so they were on the way. In the meantime I sponged them off and mixed up a new batch of organic bug repellent. I used neem and I spray around the soil and inside of the pot, but that didn't deter them much. The ladybugs arrived, delayed by winter storms in Wyoming I imagine, and I put them to work.

The ladybug place has been upping the minimum quantity you have to order, so I got 2500, more than enough! I used to get 500 at a time. After the first day I didn't think the ladybugs were doing much, but after getting into the branches, I see they're tearin' it up!

I reread the ladybug info sheet that came with 'em, and it said that if ladybugs have enough aphids and pollen they might start laying eggs. Well, I got aphids, and it just so happens I grabbed a chunk of a 'pollen patty' the other day, so I put little pieces of it around the plants, and sure enough, the bugs are munching on it.

Back to the bud shots!

Yes as a matter of fact they are greasy sticky! Got some pics this morning but the camera was being a dick. I had to try color balancing in PhotoShop. Pulled one plant out and the one behind it had a floppy branch!

Day 51

Day 51

These girls keep beefin' up! Definitely small towers looming in the grow room!

I released the last of the ladybugs tonight. It is hard to find any aphids on the plants. I think the ladybugs started breeding because I found a couple small funny-looking ladybugs sunning on top of a cola. They ate 80% of the pollen patty chunks.

Gave them a last feeding, a gallon of compost tea mixed with 3 gallons of water and a cup of high P bat guano. The little one, Mittens, is in a small pot and has been getting almost daily feedings of EWC leachate, liquid seaweed, and my homemade bloom juice made from bananas and squash. She seems the beefiest of all, but maybe it's an optical illusion...

Anyway, here's the best I could do with pics lately! That's Mittens in the middle.

Thanks, Tony! These girls rock!

Ya dude I wouldn't call it a 8 week strain at this point, though you may find a faster pheno as the BS and IC both have individuals who can go in 8, some sativa qualities are there.
Last few weeks she will fatten up niice.

Oh, I don't plan on chopping early my friend! I have some cloudy trichomes on some; #5 might be earlier than the others, idk...

They are definitely getting fat, greasy and stinky. These are pics from 2 days ago.
