Im using a 6 stage . Mine has these

1st stage Sediment, 5mic
2nd stage sediment , 1 mic
3rd stage crabon block 5mic
4th stage carbon block 5 mic
5th stage DI resin
6th stage RO filter membrain TDS = 0ppm..

the powerpack uses battery's so there is no diferance in tech. I like the Inverters for ther simplicity. All you need is a deep cycle battery to run only the thing that you need. Running the pump no problem , Lights area problem they take the most to run. I went through all of this when I had my Aquarium setup.. we had a few power potatages. Battery back up is the only solution as far as I know. they need to be charged up first. with a inverter I connected it straight to the battery on the truck I also had a 2nd battery for the wench and stereo system. I could have ran my cloner for at least a few days. work ok fpr a few days. If thats to much trouble a glass of water in the sun will also work then turn on the inverter for night use only.

thank ya sir! anyone else in the northern nevada area? went from 100 degree temps a few weeks ago to low 30s the past few nights....veggie garden is TOAST!

Currently, at my local location, i have a 4x4x7 with a 400w, 350cfm fan, and a can 33. Last run was 2 gal smartpots with 75/25 coco/perlite. Only ran 2 ladies last round, but thinken of 4 this time

Hope ya dont mind me rattling off a few questions every so often....figure i might as well redesign my little 4x4x7 tent since everyone else is either building new rooms or enhancing! Im looking at doing 4 this time around, as i have 4 clones from last run vegging. My problem is that i like to have room to work so i dont always use all of the tent, which this time around i think i might. Contemplating switchin to a 600 or adding my 250 or additional 400. With winter around the corner, colder temps should allow me to run a little more wattage and maintain same temps, meanwhile exhausting scrubbed air out of the room and into the house.

my buddy is running 2 400's in cool tubes in a 4 x 4 tent . with air from outside . our temps here are lower than nevadas but it should work very well for you too WL




gotta get some transplanting done ..... but first i think i'll smoke some brainfreeze my kid just dropped off for my birthday

yeah, ive decided im gonna copy that idea. Using 2 little 6" fans as intakes from the window. Was it pretty easy to light proof and put that together dan? Remember im not as constructially inclined as you.

and then in the summer, ill just shut the window, and use my central air. Since my girl feels the need to run the a/c at 68º, 24/7 anyways. I realized, 'why would i need a window banger. Ill just do what dan did for the winter, duh".

there yah go pappy,keep it simple,my system runs in the 80's all the time,its often in the 90's in veg,and yet no problems at all generally speaking...the household cooling system dealt with 3400w in flower and 1400w in veg all summer someplace where its gets over 100 for long periods of time...never a hiccup all summer...until the cooler broke...

veg...just 4 plants there...2 glues in 10 gallons to be up potted to 45's plus another grom x gk that will go into flower soon...just 2 glues under the 1000w halide then...

yup .... a set of closed mini blinds (window open of course ) a sheet of plywood or whatever you want to use & a couple 6" start collars from HD .

well i better be celebrating when i turn 50 since i plan on being on my way to alaska by then...i would hope to be somewhere deep in canada by then since i would need to start in april to hit alaska during prime salmon fishing...need to start hauling myself out camping here first! lol lazy frickin stoner...barely averaging 12 miles a day on the bike over the last 11 weeks,only at like 920 on the odo,should be well past 1500 miles by now...

My sons and I have colapsable poles we used to take on our bikes. Biking, camping and fishing is a great mix. Lots of good activity and excersize, and good food.
