Cannabis is like American Express to me. I never leave home without it.
But if I walked into the room where you were toking up you'd think you were busted by an old middle aged fart. Some people think profiling is a bad thing, but I sure don't have a problem with it. Get a short haircut, put on a suit, drive a respectable but mundane vehicle and nobody looks at you twice. Well, that includes girls, but everything in life isn't puppies and sunshine.

I don't agree with driving while intoxicated with any recreational drug, when it comes to medicinal that's a tough call though.
My rule of thumb is risk my own life, sure that's fine. Risking others because of my drug use, not okay.

^^ I am with you on that. That is why I dont drive stoned anymore, I get to paranoid. I could live with killing myself or loosing my car/liscence but to many little stupid things you forget when driving stoned.

A good thing to do is to check all your lights (headlights,taillights, brakelights and blinkers) before traveling with any amount that could get you looked sideways at. And, this may seem obvious, but check your tags and make sure your registration and insurance are up to date and the most recent copy is in the car.
Nothing worse than giving a cop a reason to spend another five minutes with you, running checks and looking/sniffing around.

I used to drive aound with a jar of bud and a bowl. However it seems in the past two years, the state police in my area will pull you over for anything. So nowadays I just roll up a joint or two for a long trip. In which if I'm ever pulled over with a joint I'll just eat it, which can be rough with no water lol.
I remember one time I had a cop in my face yelling at me to tell me where the bud is(just got done blazin a joint), I was like we dont got any. He was like "bs I can smell it on your breath, its here somewhere". I was like thinking in my head "yeh you dumbass, cause I ate it"

i NEVER drive high, i love being alive too much. (and i certainly don't want to injure/kill anyone!)
and in the rare case i have some weed on me while driving, i make sure it is well hidden and i follow speed limits/rules to the letter.

same here - kid running out between parked cars. if i'd been high, i would have killed it.
with all those incompetent morons with their phones/drunk/arguing in the car driving out there, you need all the mental clarity you can muster to navigate this minefield.

not if i can help it.about 6 years back,two pals come and check me and we go for a drive,its a nice summers day,1 of my pals has an o of coke on him(why,i dont know)and the driver is driving a stolen car(he didnt know)just bourght it earlier,anyway we get a tug from the old bill,my pal with the coke gets searched,they find his shit and im completly baffed why he just sat there and didnt try and run,they check the car and find a kit of slim jims for opening cars in the boot and it comes up the car is stolen,the bullshit was they were following us from my house and they knew i just got in the car.we all get nicked,my pal for the coke the other for the car and me for allowing my self to be carried,even though i didnt.go back to the cop shop,spend a couple hours in the station,i get released told sorry no charges,go home think fuck my pals they nearly fucked me up with thier bull,get home and find my gaff up side down and inside out from the old bill turning over,pissed but exspected,anyway find out later that day that neather eiather of the other two had their spots searched ?! if they had,they would of found a whole heap of hard drugs,but only my gaff,because when i was teen i was a bit of a terrorway and have a worse record than them,so the old bill got over excited thinking im the boss or the main guy in this and fuck up totaly thinking they will get me instead of doing what i fourght was standerd and search whom was guilty,anyway im not in touch with then two no more,seem sustect to me,but getting back to the point,the old bills excuse for the search was for puff.so it can and some times is a mountain instead of a mole hill.stay sharp,stay safe

I live in basically a highly watched area, aka DC Metro area. Thanks to Homeland Security they even do 'random security checks' on the subway system out here now, meaning they can pull you aside and search your belongings if they deem you look suspicious. It's def. turning into a police state out here though. Even the museums and monuments now have cameras mounted, 'watching' what is going on. Just a few months ago the DC Council approved the Chief of Police request to install more cameras throughout the city and speculation is a majority of the city in a couple years will have eyes watching you where ever you are in public.
I like to get high just as much as the next person, but some things are just best left at home. Catching a buzz is NOT worth going to jail over in my book.
